Trump recorded this new catchphrase at his Mar-aLago residence recently for Shalabh Kumar, a Chicago-based businessman, Republican donor and strategist, who was also behind Trump's first Hindi slogan in 2016: "Ab ki bar, Trump Sarkar", which was inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's poll slogan "Ab ki bar, Modi sarkar".

"I don't see how Mr. [Parag] Agrawal can maintain his position at Twitter" if Zatko's claims turn out to be accurate, he said.

In his testimony, Zatko confirmed Twitter had been warned about the presence of Chinese agents.

During a hearing with the US Senate Judiciary Committee, Twitter's former security chief said that Twitter's poor security practices harmed US national security, reports Engadget.

Kumar said Trump, who doesn't speak any Hindi at all, had an easier time recording the slogan than many people in Kumar's own team, who had trouble pronouncing the word 'Bharat' correctly. Most of them couldn't get it right, Kumar recalled with a laugh, despite "hundreds of takes".

Zatko also raised concerns about the presence of foreign agents from India which "forced" Twitter to hire government agents.

"We will use the slogan in the upcoming midterm elections in November," Kumar said, discussing the creation of the new slogan exclusively with this reporter.

The Indian American community has grown to more than four million -- said to be slightly more than 1 pert cent of the total population -- but registered voters among them are less than the total registered voters, which stood at 160 million in 2020. They are located all over the country -the largest concentrations are in California, Texas, New Jersey, New York and Illinois.

During the questioning, Republican Senator Chuck Grassley said that "the FBI notified Twitter of at least one Chinese agent in the company".

Washington (IANS) Twitter whistleblower Peiter Zatko on Tuesday claimed that the Parag Agrawal-led platform hired a Chinese agent working for the country's Ministry of State Security (MSS), and reiterated that the Indian government also "forced" Twitter to hire government agents.

According to Grassley, Twitter declined to make Agrawal available amid its concerns that his testimony could jeopardise the company's

ongoing legal battle with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, reports CNN. In a hearing that lasted more than two hours, Zatko told lawmakers that Twitter is extremely vulnerable to being penetrated and exploited by agents of foreign governments.

Trump had a far more difficult

The slogan is intended to mobilise Indian/Hindu American voters in support of Republicans, especially the key candidates endorsed by the former President - J.D. Vance in Ohio, Herschel Walker in Georgia, Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania, Ron Johnson in Wisconsin - and party candidates in Arizona, a one-time Republican stronghold that President Joe Biden, a Democrat, won in 2020, blocking Trump's path to re-

But they matter more in swing states such as Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia and, now, Georgia and Arizona, where their numbers, though smaller, are more than the margins of victory or defeat -- Biden had won Wisconsin by 20,000 votes (Trump had won the state by 22,000 in 2016), Pennsylvania by 80,000 votes (Trump won it by 50,000 in 2016), and Georgia by 12,000 votes (Trump had won it by 2,11,141 votes in 2016).

In Kumar's telling, Trump had done 12 takes to finally get it right, recording it at his campaign headquarters at Trump Tower, which also served as the head office of the Trump Organization and, then, his residence. Patna (IANS): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Ku mar’s recent three-day visit to Delhi to unite the opposition parties to contest against the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections seems to have had a deep impact on the saffron brigade. Now, the question is whether Nitish Kumar is dreaming of being the main challenger to Nar endra Modi in the next general elections. Political experts believe that Nitish Kumar has one of the sharpest brains among the political leaders in the country. He is completely aware of his strengths and weaknesses and hence he is not pitching himself as the Prime Ministerial candidate of the opposition parties.

BC Housing Market Showing Signs of Stabilizing Despite Decreased Activity

Vancouver, BC: The British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA) reports that a total of 5,645 residential unit sales were recorded by the Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in August 2022, a decrease of 40.8 per cent from August 2021. The average MLS® residential price in BC was $918,378, a 2.1 per cent increase from $899,428 recorded in August 2021. Total sales dollar volume was $5.2 billion, a 39.6 per cent decline from the same time last year.

“Housing activity across the province remains well below normal but is showing signs of stabilizing,” said BCREA Chief Economist Brendon Ogmundson. “While inventory is up over last year, active listings have somewhat stalled at relatively low levels in most major markets and as a result we are seeing a healthier balance compared to last year.”

Year-to-date, BC residential sales dollar volume was down 22.1 per cent from the same period in 2021 to $63.8 billion. Residential unit sales were down 30.5 per cent to 62,502 units, while the average MLS®

A lack of dietary fiber, which holds onto wa ter, sets the stage for constipation. Fiber will change bowel movements from hard rocks to stools as soft as toothpaste. When on a high-fiber diet, if you look in the toilet bowl, you’ll see stools that float. One reader of this my column said it gave her a stiff neck! But she was grateful for the relief provided. So how much vitamin C is required? It de pends on bowel tolerance. Vitamin C in high doses will cause diarrhea. So, take 2,000 milligrams (mg) at bedtime. If this doesn’t produce a result take 3,000 mg the following night, and so on. It will eventually have effect. A component of our natural physiology called the gastrocolic reflex also helps to prevent constipation. A high fiber cereal with fruit and a hot tea or coffee stimulates nerves in the stomach to trigger a bowel movement. The great concern with constipation is the possibility of fecal impaction, when a bowel movement becomes impossible. This de mands a visit to the hospital emergency room. The solution is an enema and some times manual removal of the impacted fe ces. Having this treatment just once quickly convinces anyone to use high-dose vitamin C and more fiber.

Some worry about kidney stones. The major ity of renal stones occur in alkaline urine. But since vitamin C acidifies urine, there’s less chance of this happening.

Drug store remedies for constipation can fail to have effect. For many sufferers, the ailment involves days without a bowel movement. Ignoring the problem can lead to disturbing complications, to be avoided at all costs.

So remember, vitamin C is nature’s natural laxative that cannot injure the intestines. It also decreases the risk of overall disease and has a positive effect on cardiovascular prob lems. Moreover, you cannot overdose with C. It’s a win, win situation.

NOW and again, friends confide in friends that they have big problems. Dreaded are the occasions when the problem is a serious medical diagnosis. But when the problem is persistent constipation, it’s better to air the is sue and not suffer in silence.

Dr. Linus Pauling, a two-time Nobel Prize win ner, believed we are all living with sub-opti mal levels of vitamin C. His primary interest was in studying the effects of high doses of vitamin C in protecting against heart disease. But in an interview with him, he added, “High doses of C also resolve constipation.” It’s a natural remedy for constipation and a sad fact most people, including doctors, are not aware of this.

Busy doctors normally don’t spend much time on diagnosis of constipation unless pa tients complain of this trouble. Circus pro moters used to say, “There’s a sucker born every day.” They’re right, as millions of un suspecting consumers use over-the-counter laxatives which injure the large bowel.

Constipation causes more trouble than you think

For the unlucky, diverticulosis can change to diverticulitis when small particles of food be come stuck in one of the hernias. This can cause mild pain and inflammation, usually cured by antibiotics. Or it can be worse and trigger a severe inflammatory reaction caus ing acute pain and a life-threatening situation requiring an emergency operation and re moval of the inflamed bowel.
