As long as we are breathing, it is not too late to begin again, to forgive, to ask for forgiveness, to start over. The only failure, is that which we choose to accept. We can learn from every mistake and misstep. To fear trying again is not the greatest travesty, but to allow that fear to cripple us and stop us from making the very effort that will propel us to succeed. God has always promised His children that He would never leave us nor forsake us, He has given us the assurance that what ever we touch it is blessed. We have every opportunity to succeed no matter the obstacles that we have to face. Don’t be your worse enemy by allowing a few mistakes, missed goals or fear of the unknown, to prevent you from reaching towards your destiny. Gods word endorses your new beginning! Go for it! *2 Corinthians 5:17- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. *Isaiah 43:19—Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. * Deuteronomy28:12-13—The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 13And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them. *1 John 4:19—There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. “New Beginnings ~ Spring into the New You” In this issue we celebrate New Beginnings both individually and corporately. Featured are various people from different walks of life, young and old, ministries, businesses, and even those who tap into the moral and political fiber of our nation. I’d like to share my thoughts and prayer about New Beginnings: that God has redeemed us, rectified us, and liberated us! The following is a collaborative effort between me and my son, Lionel D. Romans 5:1-5 (The Message Translation) 1-2By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise. 3-5There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

Father, this year you have transformed your people, your remnant, your chosen generation and royal priesthood to reflect your heart and mind. Father, let us not take for granted your grace which is sufficient for your people. God, truly create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us according to your word and ways. You have created an avenue where we can enjoy life and that life more abundantly; so let us continue to seek you first, your kingdom and your righteousness then all the other things we have need are provided automatically. We thank you for our Savior and Redeemer, our guide and Holy Spirit and for your loving Fatherly ways that will never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you Lord for allowing us the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel in this format having a platform to encourage, edify and exhort those who partake. Lord thank you that we can now be known as your children because our “New Beginnings” have been received from Jesus action to RECTFY us. Amen Indeed, Shalom

My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction; For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverb 3:11&12 (NKJV) I was born in 1966 in Petersburg, VA. I worked on farms most of my youth. I was raised in a Southern Baptist Church and asked the Lord to come live in my heart at age 7. I moved to Williamsburg in 1980 with my parents. My Dad left my Mother, brother and me while I was in High School. I joined the volunteer fire dept. in 1983 & graduated from High School in 84‘. I worked as a Nuclear Contractor, a firefighter/paramedic and as a professional comedian. In 1990 I married and had a son in 1995. In 1997 I divorced. I worked 10 -24 hour shifts a month. I spent most of my 20 days off a month with my son Cole. We were very close and I‘m glad I did not work a second job while he was young. In 1999 Cole started school and I began to work for myself. I started working as a handyman and in time it developed into a home improvement company. I married again in 2002. I knew she was not a Christian but I married her anyway (2 Corinthians 6:14) I had moved away from Church several years before and was doing my 8
own thing. Over a short period of time my wife and her 2 children came to know and accept the Lord into there hearts. I left the Fire Dept. in 2003 to work full time in my company. We were making more money than either of us had ever experienced before. We vacationed on Disney property every year with the children. We started taking beautiful cruises and spending time in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Our children, parents, brothers and sisters were all well. After reading Mark 11:25 & 26, I forgave & reunited with my father who all but disappeared 22 years earlier when he left my Mom, my brother and me. Life was good. My wife and I began using pornography. One day the subject of pornography came up in a conversation with my Pastor. I admitted to him and explained that it was just between me and my wife. He said ―You are watching people have sex, that are not married, and you are financing a Billion dollar a year industry every time you purchase those materials.‖ I discussed it with my wife and we did not heed his advice. A short time later I became depressed. It appeared that life was good. We had just moved into a new custom 5 bedroom home. We were driving nice vehicles including a new Escalade. I got so depressed I did not want to get out of bed, take a shower or eat. I stood on a ladder for 2.5 hours with a rope around my neck. I voluntary admitted myself to a private mental facility. 3 days later I was released with enough medication to stop the

breathing of a cow. I took everything. I woke up in ICU 24 hours later. My wife and my Pastor were there. My wife informed me that I had stopped breathing 3 times in the ER. She would have known, she was an RN and the Director of the Emergency Room at that hospital. Later she would say to me, ―You are a liability to my career.‖ The writing was on the wall. I would be returned and released again 11 days later from the same facility with a diagnoses of depression. That was July 2004. I began to study the Bible because I knew there was no reason for my depression. I had witnessed many suicides in the fire dept. I have stood in doorways to a hotel or bedroom and asked another firefighter or police officer, ―How bad does life have to be?‖ I learned as a small child in Church that if you killed yourself you were going to hell. I remember thinking and feeling that life was so horrible that hell had to be better than living feeling like I was feeling. I will never forget saying as I looked into the mirror ―Just get it over with.‖ And I took several handfuls full of sleeping pills and tranquilizers. I watched sermons daily on the Christian channels. (Matthew 7:8) I read my Bible looking for answers for depression. There were several Preachers & Pastors that were preaching depression was demonic. I continued to learn and search for answers and demons made sense. In December 2004 after spending 20K on tools at Lowe‘s for no apparent reason I was re-diagnosed as having bi-polar disorder and placed on different medication. I took that
medication for 8 or 9 months. I was going to check on a job one morning. As I drove into a neighborhood the same feeling I had when I was depressed came over me. I had been taking my medicine. The feeling washed down over me from my head down. The first thing I thought of was to say, ―Lord remove the demon of depression from my body in the name of Jesus Christ!‖ I will never forget what happened as long as I live. When I began to speak it felt like electrified bumble bee‘s rolling up my lower torso from inside below my navel all the way up and when I got to the words ―Jesus Christ.‖ It shot out of my mouth and hands. The words ―Jesus Christ‖ sounded like some demonic sound that you may hear in a horror movie only worse. I can tell you that there is not a special effects company in Hollywood that could have made my voice sound any more terrifying. My hands and arms were tingling up to my elbows. I had a ―Speak to the mountain‖ mountain moment. Mark 11:22 -24. It should be noted that Mark 11:25 & 26 is a prerequisite. I have studied spiritual warfare extensively sense that day and the best book hands down is ―When pigs move in‖ by Pastor Don Dickerman www.dondickerman.org . His books and his DVD‘s connected more dots for me than any other book on the subject of demons & deliverance and I have read & studied many. God told the Prophet Hosea in Hosea 4:6 ―My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.‖ I stop taking my medicine that day believing that I was totally healed. I did not think about there being
more than one demon, see Mark 5:1 -20 & 16:9. By December 2005 I had become manic and I was going through money faster than water over Niagara Falls. I began to use credit which I had never used in building my business. My wife recognized the behavior and asked for a divorce and for me to leave our home in one breath. I began to live in my business and in no time I was hearing voices. I began to drive all over the country I was arrested in South Carolina and was held in solitary confinement for the better part of 5 months. 23 hours in a cell and 1 hour out. I began to see people and things that were not there. I was so violent, for a period or time, while in psychosis I was kept in 24 hours a day. 15 minutes a week several correctional staff would let me out, escort me to the shower, watch me and return me to my cell. After 3 months I was evaluated at the State Mental Hospital in Columbia. I was diagnosed as bi-polar with audio and visual hallucinations. I was taken back to Spartenburg S.C. and a Doctor placed me on 900 mg of Lithium daily. After a few weeks of the Lithium the visual hallucinations dissipated but some of the voices remained as well as the constant paranoia that the CIA was going to kill me and my family. No follow up from the Dr. was ever done. I was released September 11th 2006 at 8 PM. I was escorted to a hotel by local Police and the next morning my mother flew me back to Virginia. She picked me up at the airport after almost running over me in the pick up area. I saw her coming and
stepped off the curb. She did not slow up because she had not recognized her own son. She later informed me that I was not acting normally either in speech or in actions. She had secured a hotel for me for a week. She took me to the grocery store to pick up food & toiletries. She told me I could not decide on what anti-perspirant or shampoo to get. I kept looking over my shoulder and side to side. I was still paranoid and I was suspicious of everyone. The next day I committed 2 more crimes trying to get back into prison where I believed I would feel safe. I was back in jail approx. 40 hours after being released from the S.C. Jail, only this time I was looking at 20 years for 2 bank robberies in 20 minutes. I was evaluated by the CSB Psychiatrist on arrival and blood was drawn for a baseline on my Lithium Level. The Doctor discovered that the dosage of Lithium that was prescribed in S.C. was not sufficient. My medication was adjusted 3 times until it was doubled to 1800 mg daily. A week to 10 days later all my symptoms went away. I came to realize that not only was I was headed to prison for many years, my second wife had liquidated my business and I did not want to be divorced. My first wife was taking me to court to strip me of my parental rights, visitation and even phone contact with my only child. I was completely broke and had lost everything. That‘s when I cursed God. I was wrong for doing it but I cursed God. Job 5:17 ―Happy is the man whom God corrects, do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.‖ I am a slow

learner. The Lord loves me in spite of me. With the Forensics (Blood Work) I was found ―Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity‖ (NGRI). I was turned over to the Department of Mental Health and transferred to (CSH) Central State Hospital in Petersburg VA. (6 miles from my Dad) I was there for 7 months and my Dad visited me 3 days a week without fail. Oh, what a lesson on forgiveness. I was released from CSH December 17, 2007 and turned over to the Colonial Community Services Board in my hometown of Williamsburg VA. I started over with one pair of pants and 3 shirts, $125.00, and God. I had a 14 year old work truck that would take more than $1,500 to be repaired, that took a few months. I began attending Spirit of Life Ministries on Second Street. It was within walking distance but often the Pastor and his wife would pick me up, as I walked, on there way in. I told them the whole story and they hugged me and welcomed me to their Church Family. I went faithfully every Sunday and soon Church Bible study on Thursdays nights became part of my week. I started tithing as soon as started I receiving income. The Lord has continued to bless me. My truck is up and running and my income doubled from 2008 to 2009. I was released from all conditions and became a free man again December 10, 2009. Before that I was released to live on my own again. I was able to find a 2 bedroom apt. and the CSB was closing apartments that they owned and gave me enough furniture for my entire apartment. I only had to buy a mattress and a trash can and my parents split the cost of the mattress. What 10
a blessing. I knew I was not going to be able to afford the apartment without additional income. Eastern State Hospital where I had been volunteering offered me a job that was part of my income doubling. I went back to court and appealed the decision the lower court had made reference my son. The higher court overturned the lower court ruling and I met with my son for the first time in almost 4 years on December 17th 2009, exactly 2 years from my discharge from Central State Hospital. My relationship with the Lord is much better today. I have fewer material things but my spiritual blessings are abundant. I thank the Lord for my Restoration and Recovery. There are people that take the same pill that I do and it does not work for them. There are some that they cannot find any pill on the Planet to fix them. I am back working part time as a handyman. I get to be a blessing to the Widows and the Fatherless (James 1:27). I really enjoy helping those who cannot afford it. They get free repairs and I get to talk about the blessings of the Lord. As I type this (Winter 2009) there is 7‖ of snow on the ground and there is a homeless man sleeping in my second bedroom. Matthew 25: 31- 46. Emphasis v. 43 ―…..When I was sick and in Prison you did not visit me.‖ I spent 13 ½ months in prison and I had 1 friend that visited for 10 minutes and a friend sent his Pastor because he was not able to gain entry into the jail. The Pastor who I did not know prayed for me and left. It was a blessing to me. I don‘t remember the Pastors face or name but I will never forget the friend that cared enough to send his very best. Before I got this wake up call I was

mostly all about Bryan Sanderson. Now I try to make it less about Bryan and more about God and what Jesus did for us on the Cross. I read my Bible often now and realize the importance and appreciate praise & worship music. There are many lessons and parables in the Bible that are full of wisdom that I try to live by. I once heard a man on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) say, (Paraphrase) ―One day when I stand before God He will not ask how much money is in my bank account or how high I climbed up the corporate ladder or how many trophies or awards I had attained. He is going to ask ―What did you do with the time that I gave you on the Earth and who did you bring with you?‖ This man was an Evangelist. He had no arms or legs and he had preached all over the World and thousands of people have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I don‘t remember his name but I will never forget the effect that his testimony had on my life. These days I try to think of myself as a servant of the Lord that strives to be good and faithful. Luke 19:17 As opposed to Matthew 7:23 ― Jesus said…Depart from Me I never knew you…….‖ "May is Mental Health Month," which began in 1949 to raise awareness of mental health conditions and mental wellness for all. The following are excerpts from their conversation: Good Afternoon Joshua it is very nice to finally meet you in person. What an awesome turn of events have occurred since our first meeting through a mutual friend about a year ago. What I like is our readers to get to know about what spectacular things have occurred with your Kingdom Kids so let us answer a few questions today. Joshua tell us a little about yourself your background, where you from, family and education. *Well my name is Joshua Head and I am the president of Headstrate Entertainment which produces Kingdom Kids Worldwide. Also, just to share some of my background. * I grew up outside of Pittsburg PA (home of the Steelers who unfortunately loss this year’s Superbowl ). I played the keyboards and saxophone for my local church . When I went to college which is our Alma Mata Hampton University (we both said GO PIRATESJ) *I majored in Music and accompanied the gospel choirs. Here at our ―Home by the Sea‖ is where I really developed my musicianship and matured as a Christian. Yes Hampton University is a breeding ground for successful trendsetters and forward thinkers. So tell us about your journey after Hampton, you mentioned working in Africa; how exciting: *Yes, after receiving my Master’s Degree in Music at Hampton University I worked on a project that consisted of developing curriculum and textbooks. I got a chance to really experience writing for an international project that was our former President Bush’s African Education Initiative: Textbook for a Global Society Project. Here I got to work with six major universities on this international platform. I co-wrote a series of educational books as well as produced recordings for the 5-year project, which will produce 4.5 million textbooks and other learning materials to be translated and published in six African countries. What a wonderful way to hone your talents and gifts for the entire world! I know you have been busy with not only working internationally but with producing Kingdom Kids Worldwide that recently garnered an accolade (smile) which we will talk about in a few moments. Tell the readers more about Kingdom Kids Worldwide project. Kingdom Kids is a product meant to help young musicians learn how to read and play music, as well as music teachers to learn how to plan their lessons. It was meant to be easy to understand for young and undeveloped musicians and teachers as well as those who understand music well. As you know most people who work with the church are volunteers without formal training; just the desire to help; yet I have developed this tool to get our volunteer’s skill level increased to produce excellent quality music in our churches. I have lesson plans, music, videos, sheet music and wealth of professional wisdom poured into this resource for the persons helping in the music ministry. Your first project Kingdom Kids Worldwide has garnered award winning recognition. Congratulations on your recent win at the Gospel Stellar awards which we are proud to say our non-profit organization Divine Concept Group had a hand with introducing you to another one of our partners the president of the Stellar Awards Mr. Henry Harris. Tell us about your experience winning the Stellar. *God is good and all the years of hard work that we have been doing in this business has really shown forth in this achievement. We are very grateful for this honor winning the 2011 Stellar Gospel Music Award for our ―Kingdom Kids Worldwide‖ which won the award for the Children’s Project of the Year! So, Joshua what is next for Kingdom Kids Worldwide and the projects you are working on now in 2011? I am going on a tour. This is not an ordinary music tour but a chance for us to go into local communities nation-wide working with the music leaders and children in that area helping to develop their skills in music. This is the heartbeat and passion of our Kingdom Kids Worldwide message and we are very excited about this 2011 project. These local tours will allow us to get really touch the lives of children who may not have ever had the chance for trainings and skill building through a ministry which is fun and exciting. So we will be going on tour with the Kingdom Kids program, putting on community-wide concerts featuring children from the respective communities in which the play is held. This will serve both to prove the effectiveness of the product and help to start children on the right path. He is also creating an eight hour seminar that will intensely train music teachers train their children better. (Joshua reflects how one Boys and Girls Club leader in the Hampton Roads area asked him how he did it; how did he get the children who normally wouldn’t come out and participate with an activity like this to really become enthusiastic and active participants with his program. You are the Pearl by Jack Stoskopf If there is one thing I‘ve learned in life is that through nature I can glean valuable life lessons. One of these lessons I learned early in life but never saw the application for my own life until recently. I was in fourth grade if I remember correctly and we studied about the state of Hawaii and Pearl Harbor. We learned the process of how pearls are formed when something like a grain of sand entered the oyster‘s shell and caused it to feel pain so it would coat the sand with nacre which is in essence something of its own self. I would ponder this from time to time. I always had this attraction for pearls. I even gave my girls an oyster on their birthdays of which when they opened them they would discover the pearls inside. We would then place them in a necklace setting together. Over the years I would think about at length about what it was about oysters and pearls I was to learn. I began to study this a little bit and I discovered that not all oysters survive the process of forming the pearl and some develop infection and die. The others take years to coat the sand and turn it into something rare and valuable. I knew all these things but for the life of me I didn‘t grasp the real life lesson. I even posted on my

Facebook page over a year ago I felt I was missing something but it was nice just know something beautiful could come out of pain. As a survivor of sexual abuse I was always questioning and trying to find something good in what happened but all I felt was pain and coped self destructive behavior. I saw myself as something less than ―normal‖ people. I was ashamed of who I was and thought if you only really knew me you wouldn‘t like me. After much soul searching, many tears and conversations with God one night I saw the LIFE LESSON I was missing. I simply heard the words ―Jack‘ you aren‘t the oyster. You are the Pearl.‖ I heard the voice of God and it has forever transformed my life. I don‘t know the source of your pain but one thing I do know, no one escapes the wounding of the soul. You, much like myself may have many questions of a painful past and focus on that pain. Maybe you have sought love and affection only to be used and left empty inside. Even now you close yourself off determined never to be hurt again so no one will ever see the real beauty that lies within. I want to tell you woman you are highly valued in the eyes of God. You are His crowning jewel of all creation. You are taken from the very essence of man, created in the image of God and you are The Pearl.

As scripture reminds us, there is much work to be done, but the workers are few. We each have to do what we can do stand for God‘s moral agenda and to break political traditions. Renewing our minds starts at the foot of the cross. Christians face an ongoing paradox regarding engagement in political life in our country. Christian Man, so to speak, sees the world through different eyes than Political Man. Christian Man sees the world through a lens of responsibility. Political Man, or if you will, Secular Man, sees the world through a lens of ―rights.‖ Because of these very different attitudes about how to approach life, Christians have a natural inclination to not see politics of central importance to their lives and, as result, to not be engaged. Christians see the quality of their lives as a natural outcome of their relationship with God and how they assume the responsibilities that He asks of them. This then reflects on how they manage their relationships with their families, business colleagues and customers, neighbors, and communities. Political, or Secular, Man sees the quality of life as a political outcome. They see their life and property as secure not because of admonitions to not kill and not steal, but because they believe these are rights and that government will protect them. Over the years, political/ secular consciousness has, sadly, advanced in our country and increasing numbers of Americans believe that our prosperity and our success reflect political decisions rather than religious/moral decisions. ~

He was a High School dropout, He has been incarcerated for over five years for a misdemeanor and he has never seen his Mom since… And this particular Sunday morning, He was very apprehensive because she finally decided to come and visit. Even though he missed her but he was also bitter. He grew up in a dysfunctional family, He was physically and verbally abused, He had a brilliant mind and yet he was never praised for his talents. He never knew the joy of a parent reading him a bed time story or tucking him into bed, and when he did something wrong, there was no such concept as ―time out‖… He had to get the ―switch‖ himself and be ready for an unforgettable moment. And he could recall that every time his name was called in the house, was either to order him to be quiet, to go to his room or to go play in the neighborhood and there was always that lecture on how he would end up in trouble or amount to nothing just like his dad who deserted them when he was only two years old to marry a young girl who a year later ran away with his Best Man, then he became alcoholic and he was never sober since… and he spent his time from one rehab center to another; so he never forgave him
His other siblings were spoiled to death, whenever they would get into a fight even though they started it…. he would be the first one to loose a privilege such as no television for a week or get his favorite toy confiscated and yet, they were church goers and as he grew older he just rebelled against the whole system because he viewed them as hypocrites, they were not that neat and lovely couple and the family was far from that image of unity, that they portrayed before the congregation. He had a lot of scars, physically and emotionally but inside he had such a beautiful spirit, but he could not allow himself to be vulnerable and soon he fenced himself behind a gangster appearance. And trouble seemed to follow him everywhere ~ He was deep in his thoughts, when a gentle voice called his name, And he turned around and there stood his mom, that woman he so admired, she had aged a little but her face was still as gentle; And she hugged him and could not contain her tears; She has been sleepless so many nights just thinking about her baby boy, confined within the four walls, without a soft pillow under his head or a warm blanket around him, but in his mind, he thought that she forgot about him, that she did not love him anymore…. When they finally sat down, she was speechless, looking at his fragile silhouette and in that UGLY prisoner gear, her heart fainted… So she told him that she was sorry
and explained why she did not come to see him any sooner not because she did not care but because she did not have the strength to see him in that condition and then leave him like that …And she assured him that she still loved him and advised him not to let those chains and ‗this cold place‘ rob him of his dreams… Then he replied, what dream, Mom… You guys always told me that I wouldn‘t amount to anything… You were right, I am a failure, And his mom cried profusely and apologized if she ever gave him that impression, Or that she was passive when he was being labeled and abused… And she finally said that she believed in him, and that she also believed that God had great plan for his life but he had to put him in that place, to free him from himself and from his circle of friends (who had a bad influence on him and were one of the prominent reasons why he was in this predicament…) So they chatted for a while and for the first time, that heavy feeling that he harbored in his heart was lifted and that defeated mind set was gone and he could picture a brighter tomorrow…and he even thought about visiting his dad someday… and he felt more alive than ever because he was able to let go of the bitterness and just love….a year later he was released and he went back to school and received his HS diploma… Today he is a successful businessman and a Motivational Speaker and his targeted audience is ―Young People" and he boldly shares his story and his faith and the core of his message is about Keeping the Vision Alive ~ because if he made it inspite of abuses, labels and scars anyone else can…

―Voices‖ is an extension of various high schools in the greater Sacramento community. This is a multicultural gospel choir under the direction and leadership of J’on Harris, Sr. This group represents a vast cultural diversity spanning four continents, eight languages, and seventeen countries world-wide. Voices incorporates youths and young adults throughout the Sacramento community who have been converted. Prentiss “P.L. Sweets” Thompson
PL Sweets aka PROS had a vision as a youngster growing up in the streets of Harlem New York. He started out as a Local DJ selling is tapes to the hustlers in his hood spinning at the block parties in the park wherever at the same time as church musician he was getting his keyboard skills sharpen weekly. Residing in his building was the legendary Leroy Burgess who knew Sweets as a child took him under his wing during his teenage years and began to expose him music production and in time he began letting him play on his records and assisting with production. The skills he acquired allowed to get hired at a Harlem owned studio and worked his way up to coownership with it's many jobs. Producer, Engineer, College radio promotions, Radio host of NYC's Make it or Break Show 105.1. He then started Mad Funk Entertainment and linked up with highly sort after lawyer Londell McMillan who got him his first major productions: Zane "Listen to the Vibe Remix" and his numerous joints with InI Kamoze with whom he toured around the world as his DJ. the president of Flavor Unit management Michael "Blue" Williams manager of Outcast, DonnellJones & SWV who since began Family Tree Entertainment. This relationship proved to be most important to his development not only as a producer, but also as a businessman and he produced or remixed Foxy Brown, Michael Speaks, InI Kamikaze, Zane, The O,Jays, Salt & Pepper, Misty Raja, Nick Cannon, Lil Kim, Rufus Blaq, Eminem, Kid Capri, Donnell Jones, Kelis, Angie Stone. and many others. In 1999 Jesus Christ entered his life and changed his direction forever and his discipleship began. Sweets says, it was the most confusing time in his life because he didn't know what to do with his gift and in took years to find out my purpose in the music business I had the relationships, the respect of the record labels, a high powered manager and attorney, but without a place to share my faith though my gift the way I heard music. But in 2005 it became clear and he released his first christian project on his imprint MF (My Fathers) Music Group entitled ―Day ina Life‖ for artist Jus Boogie and his follow project in 2007 ―Jesus the Album‖ in that same year he discovered urban gospel phenom CMO and in 2009 CMO in Technicolor was released to rave reviews. During the recording process of the technicolor album Sean Slaughter was featured on the single ―Know my Name‖ Sweets says the chemistry was really organic and he felt they could make something special. Early in 2009 the process began to produce Sean Slaughter,s ―The Prototype‖ which was rated as one the best christian hip hop albums of 2010. With a new distribution deal in place the future looks bright in 2011 with the ― The Prototype Live‖ project from Sean Slaughter TBR in the early seco nd quart er along with the ―I Am the Prototype Tour in the summer, the Burn Unit Project TBR in the third quarter and the sophomore project fromCMO tilted ―Born‖ TBR in the fourth quarter.
MU.E. Productions Artists... Courtney „Trackstar‟ McLean recently began spoken word, rap, and motivational speaking in the Lords name. Trackstar has performed at various events and open mics in the area as well as motivational speaking for small groups. He stands to not take over the entertainment world but to make it over.
