Compete or play recreational team sports with others across campus. From flag football, lacrosse, water polo and speed climbing, to snowboarding, roller hockey and volleyball, there is a sport for all level of athlete.

Choose from 28 residence halls. Options include Wallace Residence Center, Theophilus Tower, and eight themed Living Learning Communities (LLCs). Each residence hall offers many options for meeting new friends and connecting with university resources. Living in the Residence Halls often includes a meal plan with varying options in a main dining hall and in oncampus restaurants. Student and Family Apartments University Housing offers three apartment options located on the University of Idaho campus within walking distance of university departments and downtown Moscow. Apartment and Family Housing provides a safe and friendly living environment for families, single parents, undergraduate and graduate students. These one, two, three, and four bedroom apartments offer access to a diverse and vibrant community of students and families. 6

Campus is centrally located in the heart of Moscow, Idaho, a friendly, laid-back college town known for its scenic surroundings, lively local arts and music scene, and rich appreciation for nature. Its historic downtown features several dining, shopping and entertainment options, all within an easy walk from campus. There also are movie theaters, malls and numerous parks. Art galleries, specialty stores, coffee shops and restaurants line the streets.

Just minutes away from the forests, rivers and lakes of northern Idaho, the University of Idaho is surrounded by the rolling Palouse hills, an area so beautiful it was featured in National Geographic Magazine.

1. Submit an application for admission, a $70 application fee and official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended to the Office of Admissions.

2. If you transfer at least 14 semester

credits or 21 quarter credits, high school transcripts and test scores are not required.

3. You must have a cumulative transfer GPA of at least 2.0 to be considered for admission at Idaho. Engineering programs require a 2.8 GPA.

4. A professional credit evaluation will be

required for all credit being transferred from a foreign college or university. Our Registrar’s Office will evaluate all coursework from schools located within the United States.

The University of Idaho offers two scholarship opportunities to undergraduate international students pursuing a bachelor’s degree. No additional application is necessary. Simply fill out an International Student Application for Admissions and submit all supporting documents!

Discover Idaho International Tuition Waiver To qualify for this scholarship, you must have either a high school or college transfer GPA of at least a 3.25. There are two categories: 3.25-3.59 GPA: $1,500 Tuition Waiver 3.6-4.0 GPA: $3,500 Tuition Waiver This scholarship is renewable if a 2.8 minimum cumulative GPA is maintained.

Financial Support All graduate level funding in the form of assistantships/ scholarships are at the departmental level. Some departments offer Teaching Assistantships (TA) or Research Assistantships (RA). All out-of-state fees are waived for students receiving an RA or TA. Completed applications will be reviewed for acceptance to the graduate program as well as departmental funding. Acceptance to a graduate program does not guarantee financial support.
