Dependable Miranda and her ex-husband, the charming and wholly unreliable Guy, are thrown together in distressing circumstances when their faithful old family pet takes a turn for the worse. When they are joined by family friend James, who rarely sees a stick without getting the wrong end of it, and Martin, the vet and long time admirer of Miranda, the scene is set for some startling hometruths as this rapid-fire foursome mines laughter and touching observations in equal measure. Audio Described
Physical Access Wheelchair spaces are located in the Stalls of both the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall. If it is desired, or necessary, patrons may advise us of type of impairment and the size of the wheelchair (if applicable). Scooters and larger size wheelchairs may require an allocation of two ‘standard’ size wheelchair spaces. Please discuss your requirements when booking. As part of the ongoing refurbishment works, two additional wheelchair spaces and a disabled toilet have been created on Tier 1 of the Royal Concert Hall. There is a lift in the Royal Concert Hall that services all levels. Currently we have no lift facility in the Theatre Royal.
Deaf & Hard of Hearing Patrons
Both venues have a Sennheiser Infrared Transmission system. Please visit the Access section of our website for further information. During our season we offer British Sign Language or Captioned performances. Details are listed opposite.
Blind & Partially Sighted Patrons Assistance dogs are welcome in both venues or can be looked after by our staff. During our season we offer Audio Described performances. Details are listed opposite. Celebration Packages Make any occasion extra special by booking an exclusive Celebration Package for a performance in either the Theatre Royal or Royal Concert Hall. It is all hassle free, with everything organised for you. Packages can include: two tickets, interval drinks, three course meal with wine or Champagne, a bouquet of flowers, box of luxury chocolates, programme for the show and a host for either part or all of the evening.
The Green Room cafe bar, located on the ground floor of the Theatre Royal, is the ideal place to come for refreshments pre show, at the interval or post show. We also offer a range of pre performance light meals.
The Restaurant is located on the Dress Circle level of the Theatre Royal and is open for most matinees and evening performances for Theatre and Concert Hall shows.
Matinee: 12 noon – 11pm (business dependant) Evening: 5pm – 11pm
Two hours before performance – usually 12 noon for matinees and 5.30pm for evening performances.
