Caroline Bowler, Director of Sales, and the team created a spectacular event with stunning entertainment, providing an indulgent and momentous evening full of glamour and character. Our award winning Executive Chef, Michael Birmingham, provided delicious food. Professional wine tasting guided by top sommeliers, was enjoyed by all. WHITEHALL WONDER On Thursday 12th June 2008 clients gathered in One Whitehall Place to meet with Mr Jon Beecroft and his team. Greeted by a harpist, and serenaded by a string quartet in the
Reading and Writing Room, the evening got off to a fabulous start. The drinks were flowing; scrumptious canapĂŠs were served whilst we all got to know each other.

The Gladstone Library played host to the evening’s entertainment. The Wine Adventure team offered us the opportunity to create our own blends of wine, which proved interesting! Later on in the evening, showman, Tony Henry, captured our attention with his creative and unique ability to turn a chart topping song into a classical melody that amazed us all.

Across from the River Thames, directly opposite the London Eye, The Royal Horseguards Hotel enjoys an enviable quiet location, whilst being in the very heart of the West End. Due for completion in December 2008, the hotel is almost midway through a £15m refurbishment to all of its 280 rooms. The first phase of 100 rooms is already available, with the next 100 coming back to us in August. Guests were impressed by the transformation, and were particularly wowed by the features that we have included in every room, such as, iPod docking stations, and flat screen TV’s in all of the baths and showers. Bookings have been flooding in this week, thank you!

The outdoor Terrace proved a hidden gem. Adorned with summer plants and ornate furniture, the Terrace has a capacity of 120 people and is regularly host to drinks receptions and barbeques, as well as delegate lunches.
