Summer party 2008
INVESCO SUMMER SPECTACULAR... “Friday July 18th saw another fantastic Invesco summer party at Temple Island Meadow. A wonderful Fire & Ice theme awaited revellers this year, including an ice bar, fire shows, ice dodgems and fireworks. The live band got everyone dancing with an excellent set, and the DJ kept the party alive all night with some outstanding tunes. The caterers really outdid themselves with some delicious food and drinks... and for those left wanting there was Lola’s, the ice cream van with a difference!

How was your caricature? There were certainly some interesting interpretations on view! And were you left bemused by the magician? No, we can’t work out where that other ball came from either!
The good old British weather didn’t do us any favours, yet again, but in true bulldog spirit hundreds braved the elements to party until the early hours. Thanks to all those who attended and made it such a special night. Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the party, which is a fairly exhaustive list! In particular... Jamie and Shelley @ Complete Events, Simon @ Eventuate, Peter and the security team, Hobbs of Henley and Derek @ Goldline. And who could forget your amazing site HR, Internal Comms and Facilities teams! We sincerely hope you had a great night, and enjoy this commemorative magazine as a keepsake forever.”
