It’s the product that famous chef Marco Pierre White once called, “The Greatest Culinary Invention of the 20th Century,” and Gary Rhodes called, “A British Classic.”

If you go to www.saladcream.com you can write your own script for these little snippet adverts, and there is a winner at the end of the month. I don’t know what the prize is..........no don’t tell me a years supply of salad cream. Also at this site there is a Heinz salad cream events diary, including a Heinz salad cream Emmerdale summer BBQ, with a chance to mingle with the Dingles for the winners. Apparently Marlon Dingle is a big fan of the stuff and is constantly promoting it in the Woolpack or so they say on the site. Morrisons ,Safeway ,Asda and Somerfield have competition entry forms.

Like I said above the only disadvantage to my FAD food is whilst dining out its soooo hard to come by. Even 'SUBWAY' dont do this type of sauce! The amount of times I have had to ask about salad cream in pubs and resturants and the almost certain disappointed look that appears on my face! I even get funny looks! Well this is the most wackiest review I have ever written and I hope i have made some friends out there who know exactly what I'm talking about! Come on you cream lovers!! I know you are out there!! Have a good evening all!! x

Heinz Salad Cream is exactly what it says on the bottle - it is a cream for salad! But don't just stop there - it's a whole lot more versatile than that. It makes a great dressing for sandwiches and a tangy alternative to ketchup as a dip for chips. Try it with butter on toast, or use instead of milk in mashed potato. Best of all make egg mayonnaise with Salad Cream instead of the mayonnaise for a much tastier sandwich filling.
