WELCOME! I am delighted to present to you an exciting season of events in a new-look brochure, putting all the brilliant experiences our two venues have to offer together. All made possible because of the continued support and confidence of Eastleigh Borough Council and Arts Council England, for which we are really grateful. For a great night out try our Stick of Rock Cabaret Club, presented in traditional cabaret set-up, perfect for socialising with a glass in hand; or join us for an unforgettable evening of glitz and glamour with the unparalleled Craig Revel Horwood (darling!) for his All Balls and Glitter Tour; and for belly laughs there’s our new monthly Comedy Networks, each month providing a hilarious new line-up. Our dance and theatre offer are sure to get the hairs on the back of your neck standing on end with James Cousins Company showcasing The Next Generation, Folk Dance Remixed returning to Eastleigh with Hope after their appearance at 2021’s Unwrapped Festival. New Old Friends are here with the riotous whodunnit, Crimes Camera Action; our Associate Artist Sophie Ross is ready to dazzle you in Swings and Roundabouts and Johnny Donahoe’s Forgiveness is certain to be both touching and uplifting. We have more than ever on offer for families too with our Bring Your Grown Up events hosting a double dose of Morgan and West and Nick Cope across both venues. We are Here for Half Term at The Berry Theatre with some gorgeous Long Nose Puppets to Hug and our new Too Good Tuesdays welcome back the beautiful Wonder Gigs and other treats for pre-schoolers. It’s never too early to think about Christmas (or at least according to my mum!) so we are offering you the chance to book our amazing Christmas show for 2022, Kipper’s Snowy Day, with a special early bird offer until the end of January. We also want to invite you to have Your Turn and to enjoy the opportunity to be creative and social via our programme of classes and courses, for all ages and all experience levels. FORGIVENESS Forgiveness is a warm and uplifting show about the cycles of abuse that form and affect who we are, if and how we can escape them and move on.

Jonny Donahoe is the co-creator and performer of Every Brilliant Thing, which he performed more than four hundred times over four continents, including five months off-Broadway. The show was eventually filmed and screened on HBO and Jonny was nominated for a Drama Desk Award, Lucille Lortel Award and an OffBroadway Alliance Award for his performance.

Like Mr Twiggy! When Daisy is chosen to look after Mr Twiggy the class hamster, Daisy (and the rest of her class) worry she might lose him. So she’s very glad when best friend Beth decides to stay over to lend a hand. In fact, Beth, Daisy and Mr Twiggy are going to have the best weekend ever! But things don’t quite go to plan... Can Daisy use the adventures of the mess to find Mr Twiggy and prove everyone wrong? THE RONNIE SCOTT’S STORY Direct from London’s world-famous jazz club and combining world-class live jazz, narration and rare archive photos and video footage come The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, led by the club’s musical director.

Set amongst the dive bars and jazz ‘juke’ joints of London’s Soho, we hear about the desperate hand-to-mouth finances of the early years and the frequent police raids. We hear how Ronnie’s became neutral ground within rife gang territory and their scrapes with gangsters including the Krays who were rumoured to have taken Ronnie and Pete ‘for a little drive’! Mixing classic music from the jazz greats who have performed at Ronnie Scott’s, alongside tales of old Soho, miscreant musicians and police raids, this is a unique evening celebrating one of the world’s most famous jazz venues, its music, and history.

YOUTH COMPANIES Our Youth Companies are here to support anyone aged 8 – 18 who loves to perform or who would like to give it a try. Grow creatively, grow in confidence, and have the best time together. THIS IS FOR: Young people who already enjoy performing or who would like to give it a try! The Point and The Berry Youth Theatre offer an exciting way for young people to explore their interests in performance and theatre in a fun and supportive environment. You will learn new skills, make friends and have lots of opportunities to perform, including the chance to perform on stage at The Point or The Berry Theatre. The Point Youth Dance Companies offer friendly, supportive and inspiring contemporary dance training for young people with no previous experience and those training in other dance styles. Our dancers enjoy learning technique, developing ideas and working as an ensemble to create new and exciting performances. Our Youth Companies are open access, so there is no need to audition or have any previous experience. Registration works on a first come first served basis.

Hampshire Youth Dance Company provides preprofessional training and high quality performance experience for aspiring young dancers aged 13-21 years from across the region. The year-long training is supported by the Linbury Trust and follows a carefully designed programme to develop aspiring young dancers’ technique, creative and performance skills. We do not charge a booking fee. RESERVATIONS, EXCHANGES, RETURNS We can hold reserved tickets for three working days (21 days for group bookings) after which we will contact you to confirm or release your tickets. Reservations will not be taken 48 hours before a show. Tickets are non-refundable but can be changed for another performance of the same show incurring an administration fee of £1.50.
