Tinys First Pepsi Wins the QHRAI Stallion Service Auction Futurity ANDERSON, IN—AUGUST 18, 2012—Fastest qualifiers Tinys Fist Pepsi and Successful Dash returned to Hoosier Park Saturday afternoon to win the QHRAI Stallion Service Auction Futurity and Derby respectively. The races, for American Quarter Horse foals sired by stallion’s participating in the annual QHRAI Stallion Service Auction, carried combined added money purses of $150,000.

QHRAI Stallion Service Auction Futurity Under jockey Rodney Prescott, fastest qualifier Tinys First Pepsi picked up her second straight victory as she cruised to a half-length win over Mr Jess Down Focash in the $100,000 QHRAI Stallion Service Auctions Futurity on Saturday. Racing for Ronald Brown and Robert Ray, the gelded son of Tinys First Pepsi completed the 350 yard course in :17970 seconds, a 92 speed index. The $39,000 winner’s purse swelled Tinys First Pepsi’s total earnings mark to nearly $50,000. Diana Keiser bred the sorrel in Indiana from the Lucks Chic Gay mare Chics Pepsi. Two starts back Tinys First Pepsi finished fourth in the Jaguar Rocket Stakes at Indiana Downs. Racing for Quency E. Grant, Mr Jess Down Focash is trained by Huston Dial. The Papa Larry gelding out of Jacquards Darling, by Jacquard, earned $19,000 for finishing second. Ridden by Juan Delgado, the sorrel was bred in South Carolina by Joseph McMillian.

Second fastest qual- Tinys First Pepsi ridden by Rodney Prescott ifier Wrs Kool Blaze, a homebred racing for Williams Racing Stables, Inc., finished a neck back in third. Dicky Benton trains with Julie Veltman riding. The Kool Quick Kid gelding out of Blazin Memory, by Blazen Bryan, earned $9,000 for his effort. His stable mate Wrs Kool Corona finished fourth. Completing the field were Kook Quick Cash, Wh Precious Perry, Diamond Kissed, Flys No Mystery, Hoosier Rabbit and Wh Mercy Me.

QHRAI Stallion Service Auction Derby Randy Thompson’s Successful Dash picked up his fourth win this season as he raced to an impressive 1 ¼ length win over Will You Perry Me in the $50,000 QHRAI Stallion Service Auction Derby at Hoosier Park Saturday. The altered son of Cartel Success completed the 400 yards in :20.090 seconds, getting the winner’s purse of $19,500. Tom Mosley, Jr saddled with Gerardo Garrido riding. Bred by Bill Price from the Dash For Cash mare Rita Anns Dash, Successful came into the race as the fastest qualifier in the August 4 trials. The winner’s purse pushed his career total to $67,503 and a career record of 5-1-2 in 13 starts.
