RUN WAY RUNDOWN Ever hear a fashion buzz word and wonder what the heck the stylists are talking about? Here is your guide to the trends of the season.
Fabric Quilted
Quilted texture has become the trend of the moment, and so you’re going to see it not only in the traditional winter coat but also in skir ts, sweatshir ts, winter hats and even pur ses. The trend is sassy, sexy and eyecatching while also being classic at the same time.
Print Folk
Reminiscent of the clothing that dressed the hippie generation of the seventies (modern day boho, if you will), these indigenous inspired prints, a little bit of patchwork and fringed ends on floor-length dresses. To complete the look pair the print with crochet sweaters or scarves.

We have to admit we love when accordion pleats get the attention they deserve. Dresses and skirts with these tight pleats are fun and flirty without being too much, and we love seeing them this season not only in a traditionally lightweight fabric but also in leather and wool.

O
ur favorite thing about the theater community – besides their ability to make us laugh, cry, sing and evoke joy – is the costumes, of course! We decided to pay homage to our local dramatic arts scene by choosing six iconic female characters from plays and musicals and dressed them as if they went shopping at our Cape Cod boutiques.
