WHAT’S THE BUZZ? SUMMER AT BARSTOW IS BACK!

Welcome to another season of adventure at Kansas City’s most popular summer program for children ages 3 to 13! Summer at Barstow is the best place for campers to explore their interests — and let their imaginations take flight!

Here’s why: Our fun and experienced team spends all year planning Summer at Barstow, and we love it just as much as your kids do! Our goal is to immerse each camper in a dynamic environment that encourages active learning and keeps them busy as bees.

With hundreds of offerings, every child can get active, try the latest trends or discover something totally new. We offer infinite fun on our campus, and new this year, we’re hosting STEAM camps at the Dan & Cassidy Towriss IDEA Space — Barstow’s innovative learning center for science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Long-time favorites and exciting new camps will be offered at IDEA Space, less than a mile south of Barstow at 12200 State Line Road in Leawood, Kansas.

So what will make this your child’s best summer adventure ever? The answers are packed into these pages. Dive in and discover why campers swarm to us year after year — then make a beeline to Summer at Barstow. We can’t wait to see you!

THIS IS THE SWEET SPOT.

Summer at Barstow is the place where everything comes together for optimal fun for campers in preschool through eighth grade. Here, kids can be actors and athletes, dancers and chefs, gamers, engineers, artists — or a combination of it all. Most importantly, it’s a place where kids can be kids.

When our campers get to try everything under the sun, they discover new interests and talents. Think of it as cross-pollination: they take a little of this and a little of that, and something new blossoms as a result.

You won’t find a brighter, friendlier happier camp anywhere. Welcome to the hive.
