Area Free Will Baptist churches opened PVCS in August 1978. The first graduating class received diplomas in May 1985. In its 33rd year of ministry to Pleasant View and the surrounding counties, the school has an enrollment of more than 400 in pre-school through 12th grade. Twenty-seven students graduated in 2011. The past several years have witnessed extraordinary growth and enrollment and significant expansion in the school’s faculty/staff and academic programs. This growth and expansion are clear responses to the need for Christian education in the Pleasant View area. PVCS is fully accredited thus giving its students full benefits afforded their peers in public schools.
