Used tires – Take to the landfill on Eno Road in Dickson.

Phonebooks – There is an annual phonebook drive. Watch newspaper for notices.

Used oil – Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone, Speed Lube, Tractor Supply, Walmart Tire and Lube Express and the landfill on Eno Road in Dickson.

Plastic bags (grocery or market bags) – Return to stores where you received them.

Aluminum cans for charity – Devandry’s Recycling Center to donate to Habitat for Humanity or Humane Society.

Ink jet or laser tone cartridges – Dickson County Library (for Women Are Safe) and various office supply locations.

Corrugated cardboard – All convenience centers. Flatten boxes.

Electronics (computers, televisions, etc.) – The landfill on Eno Road in Dickson.

Newspaper – Convenience centers (except Vanleer and Bowker Road) and bins behind Dickson County Library.

Rechargeable batteries – Boxes at the Dickson County Library in Dickson and the Courthouse Annex in Charlotte. Put alkaline batteries in the trash.

Watch for notices – usually in the fall.
