NHC HealthCare Dickson is a locally operated rehabilitation center. Dr. Dan Drinnen with the Dickson Community Clinic does a check up on a young patient. The Dickson Community Clinic offers medical services to uninsured individuals and families in Dickson and surrounding counties, including primary care, pharmaceutical assistance and referrals for diagnostic testing, specialist and therapeutic services. The clinic is staffed by a full time Family Nurse Practitioner, Clinic Coordinator, Registered Medical Assistant and Receptionist. The clinic, located in the west wing of Horizon Medical Center, has grown from a part-time facility opened in 2006 to a fulltime primary care clinic for uninsured patients. Robert Hammer is chairman of the clinic's board of directors.
NHC HealthCare Dickson is a locally operated rehabilitation center dedicated to improving the quality of life of the patients and residents they serve. The center is licensed with the state of Tennessee to provide care for 211 patients. NHC Rehabilitation Dickson offers physical, occupational, respiratory and speech therapy services to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on both inpatient and outpatient bases for orthopedic, neurological and traumatic injuries. NHC has a registered nurse on staff 24 hours per day, as well as licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants dedicated to serving the needs of the patients and fam-

ilies. The team of health-care professionals also includes a registered dietician for nutritional support and counseling. NHC Rehabilitation Dickson offers a continuum of care for the patients, as it is the only center in Dickson to provide skilled nursing care, assisted-living services, intermediate care, respite care and hospice services.
