Rules:
All entries must be 21 years of age or older. No entry fee applies to participate, however you must pay for your beer! The stein is to be held with one arm (left or right), stretched out in front of the body (not sideways!), and completely parallel to the floor. Your thumb cannot be on top of handle. Opposite arm must be straight down not supporting your body in any way. The stein must be held by the handle. It CANNOT be held through the handle hoop, or by the actual body of the stein. There is no switching of hands once the competition has started. If the arm holding the stein is not absolutely parallel to the floor, the contestant gets a warning – after two warnings, the contestant is disqualified. Any spilling of beer is an automatic disqualification. Semi-Finals of the Contest will be held at the following participating locations every hour on Friday, September 19 between @ 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm. The male and female winner from each participating location with the longest times will represent that location in the Finals. Finals will be held at Loud American Roadhouse on Saturday, September 20 at 8:00 pm. Winners in the Finals are the last man and woman standing; arm outstretched and unbent, with full mug with the longest times. A $50 Gift Certificate will be awarded to both the Male and Female Winner in the Finals from their respective participating location they represent in the Finals. The participating location whose Finalist wins in the Finals (Male or Female) will receive a trophy with their business name and the winners name engraved, along with the bragging rights until the following year!
