Give them a taste of Austin’s quirky food-truck culture, and throw in one of the university’s most beloved Holy Cross Brothers. On April 5, Brother Gerald Muller, CSC (right), welcomed the newest class of Holy Cross and Moreau scholars to campus during a recruiting event.
Muller retired on May 3 after 35 years of service to the university, though his legacy lives on for future Hilltoppers. When Muller came to the university, the entire Music program consisted only of him. Under his leadership, the program grew to include 12 adjunct instructors, two full-time faculty members, one staff member and multiple performance groups. 37
