Labor Day is an American federal holiday observed on the first Monday in September (September 3 in 2012) that celebrates the economic and social contributions of workers. The form for the celebration of Labor Day was outlined in the first proposal of the holiday: A street parade to exhibit to the public "the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations",[1] followed by a festival for the workers and their families. This became the pattern for Labor Day celebrations. Speeches by prominent men and women were introduced later, as more emphasis was placed upon the civil significance of the holiday. Still later, by a resolution of the American Federation of Labor convention of 1909, the Sunday preceding Labor Day was adopted as Labor Sunday and dedicated to the spiritual and educational aspects of the labor movement
Forms of celebration include picnics, barbecues, fireworks displays, water sports, and public art events. Families with school-age children take it as the last chance to travel before the end of summer recess. Similarly, some teenagers and young adults view it as the last weekend for parties before returning to school, although school starting times now vary.

We hear keys to love, colors of love, languages of love, heartstrings of love, how to love, and the definition of love. Where does love begin, what is the essence of love, when to love, how to love, why does love hurt, and why do we love? In search for love you have to become

I remember turning on the television early on the morning of September 11, 2001 thinking I was watching some special effects commercial until I heard the media say hijackers have taken control of four airplanes as I watch a plane crash into New York's World Trade Center, I’ll never forget the fear and disbelief in the pit of my stomach. I was watching this happen on the news ok not really I must be dreaming , wiping my eyes I reached for the phone to call my sister in New York but the lines were down Once I heard reports about the attacks on the pentagon reality set in attacks in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia became the day we will always remember. The world trade center had been shattered by terrorist, this was said to be the day our world changed forever.
My greatest memory was not the attacks but how Americans rallied together to show their spirit and support to many who lost their families as well as rebuilding the World Trade Center. You can certainly say we were the United States of America. It’s 2012 and we need that same type of support to help rebuild our nation, we don’t have to have 99% against the 1% but we should all share the same support and spirit in making sure our walls will never be shattered again. We must live up to our heritage and that is God Bless the United States of America.

LABORING WITH OUR FUTURE: Encouraging Us All To Be a Part of Our Education System By A. C. Johnson “You
made it!” With tear filled eyes, the teacher asked her student to repeat what he said. “You made it! Every teacher I’ve had for the last five years has left me!” Infamous for his bad behavior, sharp tongue, and fighting ability, the student walked up to his teacher and gave her a hug. No teacher was willing to endure an entire school year with him since first grade. No adult had encouraged him to give and be better than what he already was. With kindness, firmness, and a lot of patience, this educator treated every student in her classroom including this young boy like he was her own. She became determined not to let everyone’s opinion of this young boy to become fact. Pouring her life into her students, she encouraged them to be great thinkers and good citizens. The young boy was able to complete the school year not only with the same teacher, but satisfactory enough to pass to the next grade. What can we say for this student and others like him who have been abandoned by teachers, administrators and parents. Who have been left to their own devices and labeled all sorts of titles before they can even complete the fifth grade. There is hope. Over the last few weeks, students are beginning the school year with one of two thought processes - hope or dread. Teachers like the one mentioned above are charged with the daunting task of managing overcrowded classrooms with less resources. How can we as family and community members support our teachers who are on the front lines five days a week? What can we do to make their days less of a burden? Here are a few suggestions to how you can share the labor of love of educating our future: 1. VOLUNTEER: Make yourself available at least once a quarter to volunteer with your local schools. Many schools will welcome the help. Just check with the school office to determine what the school’s policy and procedure is for volunteers. 2. ADOPT A TEACHER: Often time, educators in the K- 8 levels use their own personal resources to purchase supplies and to provide for the needs of their students. If you know a teacher, ask them how you can help. 3. TUTOR: There are not enough hours in the school day to master every concept presented. Share your expertise in a subject matter with a child that needs the help at an after-school program. 3. DONATIONS: Many of us are employed with companies who have matching donation or grant programs. Double your impact by using the resources available to make a donation to the school in your neighborhood. 4. PRAY: With mounting school violence, and plummeting resources, administrators, teachers and students alike can use the support

As an adult, she instituted the Singles Ministry at Keller Springs Baptist Church and served as the charter ministry leader in 2003 she received her license for the Gospel Ministry thru Friendship-West Baptist Church, She served as Associate Minister at Johnson Chapel Community Church Youth ministry, Counseling, Outreach and Pastoral Care. Her passion for learning and desire to share God’s truth with others enabled her to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Dallas Baptist University
in Dallas, TX. and she continues to pursue her Masters of Divinity degree. In December 2010, God led her to Chicago, IL to help start and serve as the Assistant Pastor with a local congregation, where her gifts of Administration and Leadership have been used extensively. Pastor Lisa Bryant is a firm believer that she has been blessed she has been blessed to train and educate others in the spirit of Titus 2:1-5. To date her ministry has reached the hearts and souls of many.

The question is do we rise together as whole or we stand divided and achieve the same results. The point is your vision is great and so is his or hers but at it’s appointed time.
Divide……What you can’t divide is United. Being united on one common goal we will stand together no matter what side of agree to disagree you stand on, you can’t divide, I may not get there with you but we will get there, you can’t divide We Shall Overcome and Yes We Can, you can’t divide collective, you can’t divide linked arm in arm no matter how hard you push we’ll either all fall down or all stand up, you can’t divide One, One is said to be the loneliest number yet its impact of unity is the strong bear the infirmities of the weak, and its race is not given to the swift but to him that endures to the end, One identifies the perseverance of many who dare to walk the straight and narrow, narrow may be the road but the path of victory is never defeated by the wiles of division, the wisdom of one is smarter than a few because it multiplies by itself It represents a single entity.
