Synopsis The story centers around King Arthur and his search for the Holy Grail. After a rather silly bit of miscommunication leads us briefly to Finland, the king and his ever faithful squire Patsy begin to search for knights to accompany him on his Quest. He finds his first in the unlikely guise of Dennis, a local mud farmer. After convincing the locals that he is King by conjuring the The Lady of the Lake to prove it, Dennis is transformed into Sir Galahad. The rest of the knights are found far and wide and the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls , send our stalwart band on their way. They meet up with an unforgettable slew of outrageously kooky characters and musical hilarity ensues as Arthur and the Knights make their journey.

Trivia & Useless Facts about Spamalot Young@Part Spamalot is based on the 1974 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail was financed by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, Holy Grail co-producer Michael White, Heartaches (a cricket team founded by lyricist Tim Rice), and three record companies. The investors contributed the entire budget of £175,350 (about $410,000 in 1974). Oh, Spam. Beloved by many, misunderstood by… a whole lot more. What a started as a shelf-stable meat option that got many Americans through the end of the Depression, fed troops during World War II, and helped war-torn nations from across nations to Russia to the Philippines and Korea stave off starvation hass today not only been embraced by cuisines around the world but, in a time when food trends seem governed by the importance of all-natural whole foods, has developed a cult following, appearing on the trendiest of menus across the country.
