Hilliard Lyons, head quartered in Louisville, Kentucky, is a 164 year
old investment firm that has been in business continuously since 1854. It has offices throughout the Midwest from Michigan to Louisiana, as far East as the Carolinas and Georgia, and as far West as Missouri and Arkansas. Since they bought themselves back from PNC Financial Services Group in 2008 however, they have not had an office in Pennsylvania. Until this year that is. In January 2018, Jeff Nedley and Susan Marshall both moved from PNC Investments to join Hilliard Lyons. They opened their new office just off Racetrack Road in Washington, Pennsylvania. The new office, located at 100 Adios Drive, opened January 11th. A Grand Opening celebration was held on May 16th to thank clients and friends for all their support.
Hilliard Lyons, a Wealth Management Firm, Celebrates Grand Opening at New Racetrack Road Location Jeff Nedley and Sue Marshall have each been Financial Advisors for more than 25 years. In early 2017, they both learned independently that the other was talking to Hilliard Lyons about opening an office in the area. Jeff and Sue had explored working together years before, but the opportunity and timing weren’t right. They had both been Hilliard Lyons’ employees while the company was still owned by PNC, so they knew their culture and reputation in the industry. After spending approximately 9 months of going over all the aspects of joining forces, they moved back to Hilliard Lyons to open their office. Two other colleagues came with them to help run the new operation. Nancy Isiminger joined as the head Customer Service Associate. Nancy worked with Jeff for 20 years, so she was able to continue caring for his clients. She is now getting to know Sue’s clients. They are really pleased and comfortable with the personal care she uses when assisting their needs. Nancy has 44 years of experience in Financial Services and is well known in the area, where she has lived most of her life. Amy Fox has 10 years of experience in financial customer service. She hopes to become a Licensed Customer Service Associate. Fox had also joined the new office in January. When asked why they were looking to move, both had similar answers which boiled down to “freedom”. Freedom to offer their clients the best service, the most appropriate investment vehicles, convenience, and a relationship not inhibited by bureaucracy. Hilliard Lyons has a reputation as being both client centric and advisor centric. Their motto is “our best investment is you”, meaning both their clients and employees. Because of this, clients and advisors alike find a customized experience in all that they do.
