PROTECTING YOUR BUILDINGS AND ASSETS CARD ACCESS Proximity detector requires that you “waive” the card in front of the device to gain entry.

What are the many applications for key and card access? 1. Keep employees in their own department, floor, or area

KEYPAD ENTRY Keypads require a 4 digit PIN number to gain entry with ability to customize PIN numbers to indivuals. You can change PINs on the fly as needed.

KEYFOBS Key fobs are similar to cards but smaller and conveniently designed to fit on a key ring.

BIOMETRIC READERS Biometric readers require a fingerprint to gain entry and are great for protecting valuable equipment or areas of high security.

2. Eliminate keys for cleaning companies, sub-contractors, and third party visitors 3. Change codes immediately rather than changing locks and keys 4. Eliminate theft of materials from high value inventory areas 5. Control when staff have access to areas by time and day 6. Know who and what time staff entered the building, room, or parking lot 7. A permanent log can be stored on a computer for reports 8. Use as time clock for employees

Q&A with Tony Dodds, the New President of Fairmont Supply What brought you to the Southpointe community? Initially, I took a position as VP of Finance & Controller for an IT company on Technology Drive over ten years ago. I very much enjoyed our surroundings with the golf course, sidewalk paths, and great restaurants all close by. I recall when Southpointe Town Center was under construction we watched the progress each day. My wife, Agata, and I moved into the new apartments at 1400 Main Street, and then ultimately decided to buy a home in Alto Piano. The commute down to Washington, PA to get to Fairmont Supply is a nice easy drive. Fairmont Supply was headquartered in Southpointe. What transpired to make the corporate move to Washington, PA? When we were in Southpointe we were a 100% owned subsidiary of Consol Energy. When Fairmont Supply went private, we decided to move our corporate offices to our existing warehouse facility in Washington, PA to gain efficiencies since we already owned the building. Can you give us a rundown on your career with Fairmont leading up to your new position as President? I began with Fairmont Supply Co. over three years ago as the Company’s CFO. In 2017, I was promoted to SVP and CFO, and just recently the Board asked me to serve as President. I’m excited for the opportunity. Fairmont Supply is poised to grow both organically and through acquisition. The energy market made several changes in recent years. How did Fairmont adapt to the new market changes in energy? We still serve in the Oil and Gas markets but in 2016, we refocused into mining and have broadened our offering of products and services. We have access to over 500,000 SKU’s and carry many in stock. We specialize in safety products, everyday MRO, hydraulic hose and pipes, valves and fittings (PVF). We are very well-positioned to partner with all energy companies, as well as manufacturing companies to supply them with everyday industrial supply needs like janitorial, electrical, safety, abrasives, cutting tools, absorbents, and any general MRO supplies. What are the new marketing plans in store for Fairmont Supply? Our strategic marketing plans include supporting sales efforts by participating in trade shows and support local community efforts. That ranges from participating in the Canonsburg parade, Habitat for Humanity, food drives, and other charity events to help with the homeless in Washington, PA. More broadly, we continue to expand our markets into large metropolitan areas. Through acquisitions, we recently moved into Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Memphis, Salt Lake City and Boise. We are pursuing grass roots marketing efforts in these areas by partnering with the local communities to broaden the awareness of Fairmont Supply Company. What do you think connects the Washington area so well with Southpointe and Racetrack Road? We find it advantageous for our out-of-state clients and vendors that come to town to enjoy the gaming, shopping, hotels, and restaurants in the Racetrack corridor.
