Of course dining in New York City is beyond compare. “They have everything from McDonald’s to some of the most elaborate five and six star dining,” Rae Jean said. One of her favorites is the top floor of the Marriott Marquis, a rotating restaurant with a spectacular view of the city. She suggested cocktails and hors d’oeu·vres for a budget-friendlier experience. The dinner menu choices are an investment, both in time and pocketbook. But, “It’s the city experience,” she said.
