Youth Swim Lessons Y MEMBERS, REGISTER NOW for FALL I CLASSES Fall II Registration Begins Sept. 29 Community Registration Starts Aug. 4 for Fall I & Oct. 6 for Fall II
Fees: $36 Members; $72 Non-Members 45-minute lessons, 1 day/week Classes are held in the lap pool unless otherwise noted. Evaluations will be conducted on the first day of lessons to ensure proper level placement.
POLLIWOG: Ages 6-12 Beginning level — little or no lesson experience. Learn to submerge head, front & back float & front crawl with float belt. Held in warm water activity pool.

CHALLENGER - Stroke Clinic
GUPPY: Ages 6-12 Learn to swim, with & without floatation, 25 yards back crawl, front crawl with rotary breathing & backstroke; 25 yards sidestroke with float belt. Intro to breaststroke & treading water.
MINNOW: Ages 6-12 Learn to swim 25 yards back crawl, front crawl with rotary breathing & sidestroke; 50 yards elementary backstroke. Intro to the butterfly kick.
FISH: Ages 6-12 Learn to swim 50 yards each of front/back crawls, sidestroke & elementary backstroke. Learn breaststroke & butterfly. Intro to open turns & diving.
For swimmers ages 6-12 desiring to refine stroke techniques, build endurance & learn the basics of competitive swimming. Coached by experienced competitive swimmers. A great bridge from lessons to swim team! Classes Meet 2 Times per Week Mon. & Wed. at 6:30-7:30 PM 4-Week Sessions: (A) Sept. 3 – Sept. 24 (B) Sept. 29 – Oct. 22 (C) Oct. 27 – Nov. 19 (D) Nov. 24 – Dec. 17 Fees: Members: $50 Non-Members: $100
FLYING FISH: Ages 6-12 Learn to swim 100 yards each of front/back crawls, sidestroke, elementary backstroke & breaststroke & 25 yards of butterfly. Intro to flip turns.

LIFEGUARDING: Comprehensive Lifeguard/CPR/AED certification classes are held throughout the year. Watch our website & Facebook page for class availability.
