Downton Abbey Returns for Festival Season II of Masterpiece Classic’s mega-hit Downton Abbey encores on Sundays throughout the month of December, beginning with a special Festival program on Dec. 2 at 8pm (7 MT). The saga, which follows the dramas of the upper class and servant class in WW I-era England, premieres a third season in January. Another highlight of membership drive programming in December includes Celtic Woman A Christmas Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7pm (6 MT). Viewers will have a chance to get tickets to an upcoming live performance in Sioux Falls. Celtic Thunder and Ed Sullivan’s Top Performers round out the primetime schedule on Dec. 1, and a Best of Festival program, featuring a viewers’ favorite, will precede Masterpiece on Dec. 2.
