No problem! with this year’s card-making, project creating, and layout assembling adventures! But that holiday to-do list can certainly be overwhelming! Here’s a few tips for staying on top of the “handmade holidays” this season: 1. Plan ahead. Once you’ve finished your to-do list, promise yourself you won’t add anything to it! Map out your supplies, estimating how much you’ll need and stock up in advance so you’re not stuck should you run out mid-task at midnight. (Having a few extras isn’t always a bad thing. Scrap papers and extra bits are perfect for handmade paper bows, gift tags, spare cards, smaller packages, etc.!)

Recipe Club Layout - Cookies (Ruthie) Sunday, November 11th, 1:00-3:00pm Cost of Class: $15 Are you tired of cooking and eating the same ol’ thing over and over? Need some new recipes? Would you like to create a custom cookbook of your own? Well, each month we meet to create a 2-page, 8x8 layout featuring a different recipe category and you’re invited to join us! The recipe selection for this month is “Cookies” and we will be using assorted Bazzill cardstock and “Kate’s Kitchen” Cricut Imagine cartridge to complete our 2-page layout. Make sure to bring your ruler and a trimmer along with your regular scrapbooking supplies/tool kit because you will be doing measuring and cutting in class. You will also need 1/4” & 1/2” Scor-Tape and a score board, if you have one. Please bring 11 copies of your favorite Cookie recipe to share with everyone in the class. Class kits are available should you be unable to attend. Also, if you do not have an 8” x “8 album to use for your Recipe Club layouts, albums & refills will be available for purchase after the class at a special 25% off discount! Copic Cards (Diana) Tuesday, November 13th, 6:00-7:30pm Cost of Class: $18 In this class, Certified Copic Instructor Diana Matthews will show you step-bystep how to create THREE beautiful Christmas cards using different techniques including three-step basic coloring, shading with gray, and Copic watercolor! We’ll be using Stampendous stamps and Copic Markers, so bring your marker stash and plenty of adhesive--we’ll provide the rest!

Cord “Stop & Stamp” Workshop (Diana) Tuesday, November 27th, 6:00-7:30pm Cost of Class: FREE Introducing a brand NEW workshop at Cord Scrapbook Studio Graceland! Our “Stop & Stamp” Workshop is a great way to experiment with different stamp images and styles and to have fun in the process! All you need to bring is your favorite paper and ink, 3-5 stamps (labeled with your name) for everyone to “play” with, stamp handles and/or cleaning supplies and an open mind! This month, our theme is Fall & Winter, so please bring stamps to fit the theme. We’ll trade stamps, practice different images, trade ideas and share techniques! Please note that although the class is FREE, registration is required. We will make a 2-page 12x12 layout using the “Thankful” collection from Bella Blvd, a KI Memories “Over the Rainbow” Sew Cute Calendar Page, die-cuts from the Silhouette Cameo, and much more. Class kits with some pre-cut pieces, instructions and a photo are available should you be unable to attend class! “C” is for Copic (Martha) Saturday, November 3rd, 10:00am -Noon Cost of Class: $33 (Includes 4 Copic Markers)/ $15 (Class Only) In this beginner’s class, you will learn the Copic coloring system, marker styles, paper, coloring techniques, which paper & ink to use, etc. With each session, we’ll feature a family of 4 markers (this month, it’s the Radiant Reds) and you’ll leave with a ton of new ideas for trying out those new techniques!
