STUDENT LIFE RESIDENCE LIFE COMMUNITY FAQ Can I check-in earlier than August 22nd? To be sure residence halls are prepared and hall staff is available, no early check-ins are permitted (approved student-athlete arrivals will be checked into the residence halls on the assigned date). Visit www.rocky.edu > Admissions > Visit RMC> Accommodations, for a complete list of discounted hotels in Billings. Can I do my laundry on campus? Laundry services are available in each residence hall and are free of charge. Is there storage space available on campus? Storage space is not available on campus. All personal belongings must be stored in residence hall rooms or off campus. Any unused residence hall furniture must remain in the room and be accounted for upon residence hall checkout.

Can I loft my bed? Lofting residence hall beds is permitted, however, loft kits are not provided. Do I have to live on campus? First-year students are required to live on campus for two years. To apply for an exemption from this policy, complete an off-campus housing application, which is located on the residence life web page. Do I have to be on a meal plan? If you live in either Widenhouse or Anderson Hall, you are required to have either the 10-Meal or Carte Blanche meal plan. Exemptions may be granted to students with verified medical conditions. For more information, contact Dining Services at 406.657.1089. Can I mail some of my belongings to campus before I arrive? Yes, belongings can be mailed to campus before the beginning of the semester. Refer to page 20.
