Yunan Konsolosluğu, bir İtalyan aile için yapılmış konut yapısı olan Alman Konsolosluğu’nun hemen sol bitişiğinde, 20. yüzyıl başlarından itibaren faaliyet gösterdi. Rubellin tarafından çekilen eski İzmir fotoğraflarında, günümüzde Yunan Konsolosluğu olarak kullanılan yapı da görülebilmektedir.
Simetri Yunan Konsolosluk yapısının genel cephe karakteristiği simetri duygusunu vermektedir. Simetrideki ana vurgular, düşeyde pilastr şeklindeki kolonlar, orta aksta yer alan giriş kapısı, alıklıklı düşey pencereler, yatayda ise kat silmeleri ve mermer balkon ile verilmiştir. Zemin kattaki giriş kapısının yüzeyleri mermer kaplamalarıyla yapının diğer sıvalı kısımlarından ayrılmış ve hemen üzerindeki mermer balkon ile de taçlandırılmıştır. Kapının iki yanında yer alan kolonlar, basamaklar, giriş saçağı niteliğindeki balkon ve balkonu taşıyan konsollar, mermerden inşa edilmiştir. Symmetry The general front characteristic of the Greek consulate building gives you a felling of symmetry. The main accents in the symmetry were given through arched columns, the entrance door in the middle axis and perpendicular windows in the vertical and floor moldings and the marble balcony in the horizontal. The surfaces of the entrance door on the ground floor were separated from the other plastered parts of with marble casings and adorned with a marble balcony. The columns on both sides of the door, the stairs, the balcony that qualifies as the entrance fringe and the consoles that carry the balcony were built from marble. The low arched structure of the entrance door was enforced with arched columns that were arranged with a triple tiered arrangement.
