Given their loyal following, that’s exactly what they did. Executive chef Steven Gallo took most of his family’s tried and true recipes to the spotlight and recreated classic fare such as Mad calamari- a marinara laced crispy calamari dish with the right texture of crunchy and savory, zuppa di Cozzemussels in a white wine sauce, baked eggplant parmagiana, veal Milanese, and mixed seafood marinara pasta, all of which are perfectly executed. Staying true to the artistic vibe of Soho, Galli’s loft like atmosphere is complemented by exposed brick walls displaying a rotating art exhibit of local artists and Gallo’s personal collection.
