We provide many opportunities in a variety of avenues whether it’s working in the frontline or behind the scenes, with youth recreation or a city event. North County Youth Collective (NCYC) So what is the North County Youth Collective? NCYC encourages others to join the movement of young people making a difference in their communities. Why Join? …Make a difference in the community! Earn community service hours, gain experience in event planning, PR (public relations), and promotions. Be a leader! This program promotes professional growth, personal development and service to the community. It gives youth ages 13-16 an opportunity to work in the Afterschool Youth Recreation Program. The volunteers work side by side with Recreators at any of our sites; giving them opportunities to give back to their neighborhood community and earn service credits for their school (if applicable).
