Welcome Note from the Race Director I am pleased to welcome you all to Round 3 of the Brisbane Camperland Queensland Road Team Series hosted in the wonderful Tweed Valley communities of Stokers Siding and Murwillumbah.

Following Rounds 1 and 2, we have asked for your feedback and have identified three priority areas for attention for Round 3: 1) Increase the challenge and variety of the road race course; 2) Increase the distance of the Team Time Trial Course; and, 3) Improve communications to Team Managers before and during the event.

We have successfully increased the Team Time Trial distance and I believe the road race will provide a healthy challenge to most riders in the field. For team managers, please note the event program for Saturday and Sunday listed within, including the timing of the Team Manager’s meeting prior to each stage.

I would like to thank the Tweed Shire Council for their support in bringing the Queensland Road Team Series to one of the nation’s most sought after cycling destinations. Thank you to Kerrie McConnell, Ray Clark and your teams for your support to the Brisbane Camperland QRTS and your continued support of cycling throughout the region.

Open road cycling is only possible with the assistance and support of the Police. My thanks goes to Chad George and the Tweed-Byron New South Wales Police Service and the RTA for their input in the planning process, and their role in keeping everyone safe throughout the weekend.

Ride hard and keep safe,

Michael Crawley Race Director

Volunteers A very special thank you to all our volunteers who have given up their time to make this event possible. Volunteers are not paid; not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless! There wouldn’t be competitive cycling events without the dedicated service provided by officials and marshals. The organizers of the Brisbane Camperland Queensland Road Team Series want to extend a sincere thanks to all volunteers for their contribution to the sport of cycling.

Veloshotz We would like to acknowledge and thank Veloshotz for all their hard work covering the Brisbane Camperland Queensland Road Team Series. Niels and his team have captured the strength and determination of riders throughout the series, alongside the many picturesque landscapes we have visited so far.
