Circulated Items: Whereas fiction books continue to
remain our most circulated materials, a surprising surge in checkouts for printed magazines occurred this past school year.
Items weeded/added: Almost twice as many items were
weeded from the collection than were added. This is due to the relocation of funds to implement and purchase eBooks through Overdrive. This trend is expected to continue as the price of digital items cost nearly double the amount of print/physical materials.
Library Website: Traffic on the MSJ Library Website has
increased to almost triple the amount of activity seen last year (with no discernable reason other than it is awesome !)
Book Club Members: 10 (on average)

A Clockwork Orange And The Mountains Echoed Pride and Prejudice and Zombies The Eyre Affair Misery The Light Between Oceans The Martian The Humans

Looking Back…..
On productive collaboration with fellow faculty members on National History Day, Solutions Showcase, PBL, and many other research projects. On another successful National Library Week [NLW] with attendance exceeding expectations (forcing a venue change).
Looking Forward…
To recruiting underclassmen for the Student Book Club ( 5 members were graduating Seniors!) To being a part of a new Freshmen Reading Incentive Program to encourage a love of reading… …with more print books
and eBooks!
To an exciting new year of implementing the 1:1 iPad program.
