PRIME PRODUCE PROUDLY PRESENTS

NOVEMBER 22

THE 5TH ANNUAL COLLABORATIVE OPEN BENEFIT

We at Lend-A-Hand India have been working with the all-volunteer team of Prime Produce for last two years. Our association has not only been financially very beneficial to raise funds, but has also significantly expanded the awareness about the work we do beyond our usual circles. The dedicated volunteers from Prime Produce goes out of their way to help the non profits who are in the need of it the most in these tough economic times. Raj Gilda Co-founder, Lend A Hand India

Prime Produce events are a perfect platform for any organization to raise some great money and meet other charitable organizations. Moreover, it’s a wonderful social venue to bring your organization’s supporters and staffers together to bond and celebrate.

Sixiang Wang, Board of Directors, Chinatown Youth Initiatives

“Since you weren’t nearly as cool in high school as you are now, why NOT relive the prom with Prime Produce?! I had a blast representing She’s the First last year! Even better, the Prom raised hundreds of dollars for She’s the First, enabling us to sponsor girls at Arlington Academy of Hope in Uganda. Come for the origami corsage, come for the free food, come to dance! But most of all, come to help us make a difference in the world.” Tammy Tibbets, Founder & President She’s The First

Who We Are: Prime Produce is a contemporary guild for social innovators. Our community of nonprofiteers, social entrepreneurs, conscientious professionals, and devoted volunteers operates a 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit organization (Prime Produce Limited) that faciliates creative and entrepreneurial involvement to support of socially innovative causes. We are part thinktank, part artist collective, and part social network. We believe that through our collaborative, creative, and ambitious initiatives, we can mutually inspire and enhance the livelihoods of the communities around us. Our community members invent new not-for-profit organizations and social enterprises. We learn and we teach new ways to embody positive change. We create works of art. We throw multi-organizational benefit parties. We are a coalition lifetime students committed to the craft of cultivating meaningful lifestyles.

Prom 2014: Since 2010, Prime Produce has been devising “Open Benefits” in New York City, San Francisco, and Honolulu. 100% of net proceeds from each themed social event is donated to participating not-forprofits, proportional to their attendance. By bringing together young leadership and support networks in the nonprofit sector, we foster cooperation within the sector while simultaneously raising money for worthy causes. Whether interactive arts events or winter time pool parties, each open benefit is a blend of wholesome fun, novel execution, and unadulterated goodness. Prom, Prime Produce’s annual flagship event, is a Prom-themed soiree where participants don formal and festive Prom attire to dance the night away with music, refreshments, Prom photos, a slow-motion booth, and several hundred of their local community’s most conscientious partygoers.

Who’s Coming to the Prom 2014: Local chapter of 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations are welcomed to join the official registry and benefit financially from Prom 2014. The Prime Produce NFP registry has included over 100 recipient organizations, which range from established household names (Save The Children, American Cancer Society) to growing initiatives (She’s The First, GroundUp Global) to the freshest generation of not-for-profit upstarts. NFP representatives and supporters for these organizations will be in attendance alongside other up-and-coming movers and shakers from within the sector. Our events bring together a crowd of conscientious, sociable, and educated 21-35 year olds. Many guests are influential young social entrepreneurs and not-for-profit leaders. For more information about the Prom’s NFP registry, please contact us our NFP Coordinator: Nausheen@primeproduce.org
