PROM2013 CHARITY. INNOVATION. CELEBRATION.

NOVEMBER 23, 2013

“Since you weren’t nearly as cool in high school as you are now, why NOT relive the prom with Prime Produce?! I had a blast representing She’s the First last year! Even better, the Prom raised hundreds of dollars for She’s the First, enabling us to sponsor girls at Arlington Academy of Hope in Uganda. Come for the origami corsage, come for the free food, come to dance! But most of all, come to help us make a difference in the world.” ~Tammy Tibbets, Founder & President She’s The First (shesthefirst.org)

The Prom was a great way to meet young entrepreneurs and leaders in the non-profit world. We were able to reach a large audience by combining our networks and gain exposure to new supporters for our arts organization. Best of all, we were able to raise funds without having to plan a fundraiser! ~Tze Chun, Founder & Artistic Director Tze Chun Dance Company (tzechundance.com)

Who We Are: Prime Produce is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to innovating new channels for creative and entrepreneurial volunteers to positively impact the NFP sector. Prime Produce is 100% volunteer-run and seeks to leverage the social and cultural capital of its contributors to effect real change. Our services range broadly, from event planning assistance to benefit apparel design to the development of new nonprofit organizations. We believe that through cooperative, creative and ambitious involvement in the NFP sector, we can mutually inspire and enhance the next generation of altruistic leadership.

Prime Produce Open Benefits: Since 2010, Prime Produce has been organizing “Open Benefits in New York City, San Francisco, and Honolulu. Our dedicated all-volunteer team creates, plans, and executes large scale event from which 100% of proceeds from each themed social event is donated to participating not-for-profits. By bringing together young leadership and support networks from the next generation of altruistic champions, we foster innovation and cooperation within the sector while simultaneously raising money for worthy causes. From our Prom-themed soirees to interactive arts festivals, each open benefit is a blend of wholesome fun, novel execution, and unadulterated altruism.

Open Benefit Attendance: Eligible non-political, non-religious 501(c)3 notfor-profits are welcomed to join the official registry and benefit financially from the events. The NFP registry includes over 50 Prime Produce recipient organizations, which range from educational fellowships (She’s The First, PreProBono) to children’s programming (Swaziland Arts for Education, Chinatown Youth Initiatives) to healthoriented organizations (American Cancer Society, Ambassadors for Sustained Health). NFP representatives and supporters for these organizations will be in attendance alongside other up-and-coming movers and shakers from within the sector. Our events bring together a crowd of conscientious, sociable, and educated 21-35 year olds. Many guests are influential young social entrepreneurs and not-for-profit leaders. For more information about Prime Produce programming and the NFP registry, please contact us at prom@primeproduce.org.

How You Can Get Involved: : We invite you to join our cause and showcase its Good spirit to the 1000+ Prime Produce Prom antendees nationwide - friends, family, and partners – who will don Prom attire and gather for an evening of socializing, dancing, and romancing. This event was devised as a platform for forging strong NFP connections within the sector, raising capital, joint promotion, recognizing NFP leadership, and celebrating altruism. We would be delighted to feature our partner organizations prominently at the event.

Partnership Benefits: • Promotion to a captive audience of 21-35 year old social innovators and urban change-makers • Recognition and prominent promotional space at the event • Donor credit in written materials and multimedia, including digital invitations, press releases, video advertisements, and other event promotions.
