Don’t forget to renew your amateur card as well as your individual membership. Do this early to avoid the daybefore-the-show rush. You can check the PtHA Rulebook if you need details on what qualifies as an amateur with the association.
Search for Pinto Horse Youth Association and “like” it today! It was created by Pinto Youth, for Pinto Youth to help you stay up to date and in the know on all things PtHYA.

Represent your state at national PtHA functions! Be a Youth Director! As a Youth Director, you will be able to represent your state at national meetings in addition to informing the youth in your area of national activities. This is also the only way to be eligible to become an officer of PtHYA! To become a Youth Director, simply fill out the application found on www.pinto.org/youth and return it to the PtHA office. Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified in January of acceptance. The number of Youth Directors allowed per state corresponds to the number allowed for PtHA Board of Directors. To see how many directors are allowed in your state, check the youth page of www.pinto. org. In the case where more members from the same state apply than are allowed, the director will be chosen on PtHA involvement and potential service.
