St. Augustine’s Prayer to the Holy Spirit Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. ~ Amen.

Leaking Good News - Leaks in the ceiling of the hall kitchen, back entrance,

kitchen storage area, and hall vestibule, which have become more frequent over the past few years have been fixed. A new roof consisting of a fire retardant fibre board screwed into the roof decking, base membrane adhered to the fibre board and a cap sheet membrane torched to the base membrane were installed last week on the lower roof of the hall. Leaks in the upper roof of the hall and over the sacristy were also patched. Total cost was $34,100. Thanks to Joe Cabral for leading this project and finding about $5,500 in savings versus the initial cost quotation. In addition, by doing a number of tasks ourselves (installed ceiling tiles, repaired roof over sacristy, installed patio stones, etc) versus contracting out the work, we saved about $6,500. ~ Your Property Committee
