Need Volunteers for Parish Grounds Fall Cleanup

On Sat., Nov. 3, we have our annual fall cleanup of the Parish grounds. Please join us between 9-11 am. Bring a rake and a smile! For those who cannot come Nov. 3, how about coming for an hour at your convenience during the week … pick out an area on the lawn and rake the leaves into piles. Please add your name to the sign-up sheet on the north wall of the Church entrance. Thank you. Your Property Committee.

Campaign Life Coalition Christmas Cakes

Delicious custom baked Christmas cakes will be sold after all Masses on Nov. 17/18 and Nov. 24/25. For a donation of $25 to CLC’s Pro-life work you will receive a beautiful boxed deluxe Christmas cake. We also have a regular bar cake for $18. They make great Christmas gifts! October Rosary

The Knights of Columbus will sponsor praying of the Rosary on Wednesday evening, Oct. 31 at 6:45PM. All are welcome to participate.

Christmas Donations

The CWL is helping to support the Street Mission in Kingston by providing Christmas gift bags this year. We are asking for donations of small personal items (e.g., soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Nutri-grain bars, etc.) that could be included in the gift bags. CWL members and all parishioners may leave their donations in the CWL box in the vestibule (until Nov. 13), or bring it to the CWL general meeting on Nov. 13. Thanks for your continued support.

Autumn Tastings. Thank you to all who supported and who attended the

evening on October 20. Along with the tastings, we enjoyed the company of fellow parishioners and the satisfaction of raising funds for our parish. Many friends, inside and outside the parish, provided donations and services: you can see their names listed on the boards at the front and back entrances to the church.

The 2018 Hotel Dieu Hospital - St. Mary’s Cathedral Coat Drive will

be collecting warm, washable (ski-jacket style) coats to Nov. 16. Extra-large sizes (men’s and women’s) are especially needed. Washable thermal socks, mitts, hats and blankets also needed.
