Decision Time

Our Parish’s Autumn Tastings evening of wine, Scotch and good food is next Sat., Oct. 20. This is our parish’s major fundraiser for the year and it needs your support. The present weekend is the last time tickets will be available after Mass. If you don’t already have tickets, you can call the parish office (613-389-3532), Elaine (389-1276) or Marianne (389-4368). Tickets can be delivered to your door. Please let us know early this week so we can plan adequate refreshments.


Parish Breakfast

The Knights of Columbus Council 7224 invite you to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Breakfast on Sun., Oct. 28, both Masses. Cost is $5 per person, Childrens tickets are free. Tickets will be available for sale at the Church entrance after each weekend Mass. If you have any questions please contact George Iori, 613-384-4812. Please help us make this another successful Parish event.

October Rosary

The Knights of Columbus will sponsor praying of the Rosary every Wednesday evening at 6:45PM outside in front of the flower garden and the statues of the Blessed Mother and St. Bernadette. Oct. 17, 24 and 31. In case of inclement weather, we will move inside to the main foyer of the church, in front of the statue of the Blessed Mother. All are welcome to participate. God bless our parish family.

Family Mission of Our Lady – Upcoming Events

Family Mission of Our Lady exists to build a Catholic community for all families in Kingston in order to support and share the Gospel. We will gather for fun activities, discussion, faith studies and prayer.

Our Lady’s Moms & Tots:

Every Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall. A gathering for mothers and young children. Mass at 9:30, Coffee and Playtime 10-11 AM

Liturgical Assignments are posted on the bulletin boards and on the parish website Holy Communion to those in the Parish who are not well enough to come to Sunday Mass, please contact Sandra Belanger at 613-384-1489 Sacrament of Penance Saturday, 4:30-5:00 p.m., daily before Mass, and by appointment Sacrament of Baptism: by appointment Sacrament of Marriage: Arrange 6 months in advance. Pre-marriage course required Sacrament of the sick: as needed. Call the parish office.


Adoration and Confession for Families:

Third Saturdays at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. This is a time for families to gather for prayer and Confession, and to celebrate and learn about the Liturgical seasons of the Church. This will be suitable for young children and will give families an opportunity to pray together. Share the Journey

68.5 million people in the world today have been forced to flee their homes. Share the Journey is an international campaign launched by Pope Francis to help people of faith and goodwill come closer to our brothers and sisters all across the world who had no choice but to become migrants. Join the Kingston Diocesan Development and Peace group for a workshop to learn more about how you can be involved in helping the church in Canada to join the effort! Coat Drive

The 2018 Hotel Dieu Hospital - St. Mary’s Cathedral Coat Drive will be collecting warm, washable (ski-jacket style) coats Oct. 15 to Nov. 16. Extra-large sizes (men’s and women’s) are especially needed. Washable thermal socks, mitts, hats and blankets also needed. Please drop donations in the red bin just inside the Sydenham Street doors at Hotel Dieu during business hours, weekdays. For more information, call 613-544-3400, ext. 4204.

Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School

Parent/Teacher interviews will be held on Thurs., Oct. 18, 3-5:30 pm and 6:30-8:30 pm and Wed., Oct. 24, 6:30-8:30. Please go to the HCToday website for instructions on how to book a parent/teacher interview.

Men’s Ministry

Liturgical Music Workshop for all Music Ministers
