12, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish will sponsor a bus trip to Toronto to see the Musical Dear Evan Hansen, the Broadway Hit that has clutched the hearts of thousands with its story and beautiful soundtrack. Focussing on the disastrous effect of neglected mental health in our youth, Dear Evan Hansen brings a poignant and thought provoking message to the stage. Laugh, cry and be moved with this tale that will stay with you for weeks. Tickets are $215./person and includes the return trip to Toronto, dinner at the Mandarin Restaurant, Pickering, an orchestra theatre seat and a $40. tax receipt. Donations for Easter Flowers and through the year are requested. Envelopes are

available in the vestibule. Your donations will be included on your income tax receipts. Donations may be given in memory of beloved deceased family, friends, or for any other intentions. A list of donors and intentions will be posted in the Easter season.

12 volunteers are invited to have their feet washed at the Holy Thursday evening Mass, 7:00 p.m. Please see the list on the table at the entrance of the church and respond before March 30.

CWL Diocesan Convention: Registration Due Date

Due date to register for the Annual CWL Diocesan Convention is March 31st. The convention is May 4 & 5 at the Ambassador Hotel, registration forms are in the vestibule. Cheques payable to Our Lady of Lourdes CWL and give to Helen Noonan or one of the executive members. Thank you. Viki Barnes

Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Confessions

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated one half hour before Masses Tuesday - Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. throughout the year. During Lent additional time for Confessions are: 1. Friday, Apr. 12, after Mass until 11:00 a.m. 2. Saturday, Apr. 13, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. 3. Saturday, Apr. 13, after 5:15 Mass 4. Palm Sunday, Apr. 14, after 11:00 a.m. Mass 5. Wednesday, Apr. 17, after 9:30 a.m. Mass

Sacraments Liturgical Assignments are posted on the bulletin boards and on the parish website Holy Communion to those in the Parish who are not well enough to come to Sunday Mass, please contact Sandra Belanger: 613-384-1489. Sacrament of Penance Saturday, 4:30-5:00 p.m., daily before Mass, and by appointment Sacrament of Baptism: by appointment Sacrament of Marriage: Arrange 6 months in advance. Chrism Mass

Archbishop O’Brien and the clergy of the Archdiocese will celebrate the Chrism Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Tuesday, 16 April at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to participate in this special celebration. A reception for all will follow at École Cathédrale.

Development & Peace / Share Lent

The diocesan collection for Development & Peace will be received on April 7th.

Salva Regina Society

Parish Mission: The God Who was, Who is and Who is to come

Share the Journey This year, Development and Peace- Caritas Canada is inviting all of us to walk in solidarity with the 68.5 million children, women and men who have been forced to flee their homes. Every step will send a clear message to the Canadian government that it must do more to end forced migration. We hope that many of you will join us to walk and raise funds in solidarity. The walk will cover 5 km. and will depart from Holy Family Church at 130 Wiley Street (corner of Weller) in on Saturday, April 6th at 10:00 a.m. For all questions, please contact Sr. Helen Russell at 613-766-2376.

Pastoral Ministry Workshop The Religious Education Office of the Archdiocese is offering a Workshop on Pastoral Ministry on Saturday, 25 May 2019, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., at St Paul The Apostle Church hall. This workshop is open to anyone involved in Pastoral Ministry, Prison Ministry, or anyone who would like to learn more about the spirituality of listening and presence. Presenter: Robert Mundle. One Million Rosaries for Unborn Babies
