Father, you sent your Word to bring us truthand your Spirit to make us holy. Through them we come to know the mystery of your life. Help us to worship you, one God in three Persons, by proclaiming and living our faith in you. We ask you this, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God, true and living, for ever and ever. Amen.

Pilgrimage to Barcelona, Lourdes and Rome, 2017

During 2017, we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of our beloved parish, Our Lady of Lourdes. What better way to celebrate this significant milestone than to travel to LOURDES and take part, with fellow parishioners, in the beautiful evening Candlelight Procession. We still have seats available and would love to have you join us. The date of the Pilgrimage is from October 10th to the 20th, 2017. For reservations call Anne Routhier at 613-389-8170

Education of Seminarians

The diocesan collection for the Education of Seminarians Fund will be received on June 18.

Save the Date for this year’s major parish fundraiser,

Saturday September 30. It will be an evening of TASTING – Wine, Scotch, and fine foods. The price is $45, all inclusive. Tell your friends about it - make a party. Watch for posters with further information.

The Canadian government is matching funds donated to charities collecting for African Famine Relief up to June 30. CWL

In honour of Father’s Day, the CWL will place a basket at the entrance of the church where you may write the name of your living or deceased father. These names will be presented at the Mass. Thank you.

CWL Potluck

All CWL members are invited to our annual potluck dinner on Monday June 12. We will meet at 5:15 in the hall for a prayer service to remember recently deceased members. Dinner will begin at 5:30. Anniversary pins will also be presented. Following dinner, the Holy Cross School Jamaica Mission Trip students will present a slide show about their mission trip in February. Gifts or monetary donations for birthright will also be accepted at the potluck. We hope to see you there.

Sacrament of Penance Saturday, 4:30-5:00 p.m., daily before Mass, and by appointment Sacrament of Baptism: by appointment Sacrament of Marriage: Arrange 6 months in advance. Pre-marriage course required Sacrament of the sick: as needed. Call the parish office.


Our Lady of Lourdes Parish 50th Anniversary Parish Barbecue On

Sun. June 18, your 50th Anniversary Committee will host a Family Barbecue for all parishioners. His Grace, Archbishop O’Brien will preside at the 11 o’clock Mass and immediately following, His Grace will join our parish family for the barbecue, on the parish grounds. There will be lots of fun and entertainment for the children. What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than to bring the whole family and join fellow parishioners at our parish barbecue? The best part of the event is that it is FREE, however a free will offering would not be refused! Complimentary tickets will be available at the Parish Office and after each Mass on June 4 & 5 and June 10 & ll.

Birthright thanks all parishioners who took home a bottle on Mother’s Day weekend. Please return all baby bottles on or by Father’s Day weekend (June 17-18). Thank you for your support.

Totus Tuus Catholic Summer Camp! Registration Open!

Youth in the Archdiocese of Kingston are invited to sign

up for Totus Tuus (Latin for Totally Yours) Catholic Summer Camp! The day program, for children entering grades 1-6, runs Mon-Fri from 9 am to 2:30 pm. ($75 for the week). With an option of extended daycare till 4 pm. In the evenings, the team offers an engaging program for teens in Grades 7-12 which runs Sun-Thurs from 7-9 pm. ($25 for the week). In Kingston, there will be two weeks of camps (the weeks of July 9-14 & July 16-21) at St. Paul the Apostle Parish. Each week has its own theme, so campers can register for one or both weeks. “Handmade Only” Craft Sale Looking for Vendors

Holy Cross School is hosting a craft show on Sat. Oct. 14 from 10-3 pm. The cost to vendors is $30 per table with funds going to the 2018 Jamaica Mission Trip. Vendors keep all profits from sales. Coins for Life

On June 24/25, containers will be available for you to take home after all Masses. Please fill the containers over the summer and return them on September 23/24. Annunciation Parish in Enterprise is hosting their annual Chicken Barbecue and Raffle Draw on Sat., July 8. Serving will be from 4-7 pm in the Church Hall, 659 Church St., Enterprise.
