O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Mercy, Health of the Sick, Refuge of Sinners, Comfort to the Afflicted, you know my wants, my troubles, my sufferings. Cast upon me a look of mercy. By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes, you were pleased to make it a privileged sanctuary, where you dispense your favours; and already many sufferers have obtained the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and corporal. I come, therefore, with the most unbounded confidence to implore your maternal intercession. Obtain, O loving Mother, the granting of my requests. Our Lady of Lourdes Parish CWL Membership Drive All ladies of the parish are invited to join or renew their membership with the Catholic Women’s League of Canada. Members will be in the vestibule over the weekends of January 19-20 and 26-27 to answer any questions and collect your $20 renewal fee. We look forward to greeting all of our sisters in the League. We will also continue our tradition of receiving donations of new socks, mittens and gloves that will be passed along to local shelters and hospital emergency rooms. The Knights of Columbus Council 7224 will be recruiting new members to our organization this weekend. Current members will be available to provide you with information brochures outlining the benefits available through membership as well as answer any of your question. 2017 Income Tax Receipts are in the church vestibule. The Diocesan Collection for Catholic Missions in Canada will be received on February 2 and 3.

Cursillo Weekend for Men to be Held in Kingston Pope Francis encourages us to encounter Jesus. The Cursillo Weekend offers a short and profound opportunity to encounter Jesus. The Archdiocese of Kingston has just completed a milestone with the Women’s Cursillo Weekend held on August 9th to 12th, 2018. We are now blessed with the opportunity to have a Men’s Cursillo Weekend scheduled for Thursday evening, March 28th through to Sunday, March 31st, 2019 incl., at Providence Spirituality Centre in Kingston.
