Flowers, herbs, vegetables, fruits, or whatever can be grown in hoop gardens. Keyhole gardens and elevated gardening could be scaled down to accessibility. This course will cover the basics of this established concept and will help you learn how to tend to this type of gardening. Qi Gong Exercise (I Chin Ching) 450218 I Chin Ching or Yijin jing roughly translates to the “change of tendon and muscle.” The idea is that by tensing your muscles through static holds/stretches and dynamic motions you can build stronger, more flexible muscles and tendons, while achieving better balance and coordination. That’s a lot of promise for just 49 exercises! Many of the Qi Gong exercises are similar to yoga postures and these can be done by anyone. No experience or uniform is required -just wear comfortable clothes. Instructor: Barrera Tuition $59 W 6 sessions 7:30pm-8:30pm 6/7 Shaolin West SA W 6 sessions 7:30pm-8:30pm 7/26 Shaolin West SA

If you have an idea for a class, please visit our website and submit a proposal detailing the course you would like to teach and what makes you the perfect person to teach it. Our coordinators review all applications based on our program needs and student requests. We plan four to five months in advance for our semesters, and work to select seasonally-appropriate classes. If your proposal fits a need, the coordinators will be in touch to further discuss your ideas.
