HEALTH&WELLNESS ADAPTIVE TAI CHI

Tuesdays at 1:00 pm, with instructor Jeff Cheever. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the benefits of Tai Chi at a pace that accommodates various physical limitations, but allows for the improvements this exercise can offer its participants.

AEROBICS

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30 - 10:30 am. This is a low-impact aerobics class designed especially for the 60+ crowd who wish for a moderate-paced class. This fun fitness program will help maintain and improve cardiovascular conditioning, circulation, flexibility, and muscle tone.

CHAIR YOGA

Mondays, 9:30 am. Chair yoga accommodates persons who can’t get up and down easily from the floor. This style of yoga can be a very complete workout that increases flexibility and strength, while incorporating breathing techniques that are both energizing and calming. This is a self-led class.

BREATH & BALANCE

Wednesdays, & Fridays, 3:00 4:00 pm. This is a self-led gentle exercise class. Class focus is on improved breathing awareness and balance from simple exercises done from a chair, as well as walking, and selective use of balance balls. Music and social interaction enhance this gathering, allowing participants to enjoy themselves while they gently work out.

ARTHRITIS EXERCISE PROGRAM Wed. & Fri. 9:30 - 10:30 am. This self-lead fitness class is a fun way to build strength and flexibility for body and mind.

BODY SCULPTING

Mondays & Thursdays, 5:30 pm. Body sculpting (or core conditioning) is a non-aerobic, muscle-toning class led by Chris Gary. Chris has over 20 years of experience leading health and wellness classes in Lincoln County. This type of training can give you strength, muscle tone, and may lower your risk of bone loss.
