What inspired your interest in real estate? My first house purchase was a diamond in the rough foreclosure in Portland. My wife and I had the help of a realtor and loan officer, but still had to navigate many unforeseen obstacles. It was then I realized I could be good at this! Years later we sold our house, and also learned real estate can really be a sound, lucrative investment. What advice would you give a first time homebuyer?
