This promise has been kept, and today Telecommunications Ghisellini can offer a catalog with a strong seven-power solutions to the radio market .

The EXC complete catalog Following the tradition of all Ghisellini equipment, being designed and built in-house, the last period have seen the development of these new products, all aimed at the FM market and all solid-state. The line, denominated GB, includes the following units: the EXC 30GB (exciter); the EXC 30Plus GB (an enhanced version); the EXC 500GB (500W exciter); the EXC 1000GB, the EXC 2000GB and the EXC 3000GB (complete transmitters) and the EXC 10.000GB (a 10-kW unit, complete transmitter). All the units into this power range can be supplied either as "all in one", or as “plug-in devices” to be connected and ready to go on the air, or to be purchased separately, or only for part of modulation/excitement,

or just as amplifiers. Starting from the medium power, the key characteristics of the 1-kW transmitter are its compact size (a total of 2 or 3U, on request, for the power, encoding and amplification devices) and, thanks to the technology implemented, its low power consumption figures, less than 1.6 kW for an effective 1-kW signal. For buyers of medium- and lowpower systems, we know how important the weight of the equipment is. Keeping the weight down facilitates

transport and installation. And the Ghisellini EXC 1000GB in the 2 U version weights just 13 kilograms. It has an output of 1 kW, takes up just two rack units and is no heavier than a few bottles of mineral water! The advantages of a system that one person can move and install on his own are clear. The exciter is housed in a single rack unit and weighs less than 4 kg. It is fully microprocessor controlled and can deliver up to 30W pilot power (but also direct transmission in typical gap-filler applications). From a

physical point of view, we could define it as a ‘pocket’ system even though it boasts topquality technology. This exciter includes an integrated stereo encoder (more money saved!) and is available in two versions: an entry-level configuration and a fully-equipped one. They have the same characteristics in terms of radio frequency but the entry-level model does not have the IP control capability of the enhanced version. Both versions feature GPRS and GSM functions.
