Dancing Darlings
This class is designed to introduce your Dancing Darlings to the basics of dance in a warm and caring environment! Students will engage in hands-on movement activities essential to proper development in coordination, recognizing music and rhythms, cutting and timing, and self-confidence. A combination of Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet basics will be taught to stir up students’ excitement for movement and music! Exciting props are utilized to practice a variety of movements and enhance the imagination! Twinkle Toe Totz

Pointe curriculum enhances a student’s ballet technique and knowledge by taking them to the next level, figuratively and literally! This class emphasizes strengthening exercises for the legs, calves, ankles, feet and advances dancers to intermediate/ advanced footwork & choreography. Dancers learn about pointe shoes, how to properly affix/ tie pointe shoe ribbons, and proper foot care for longevity. Ballet Dance
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. It provides education in grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance, is recommended for all types of dancers and required for company members. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, turnout, terminology and feet positions. Dancers will begin class at the barre, move to center floor work, followed by across the floor combinations and wrap up with routine choreography. Ballet is the most disciplined and important genre of dance, creating strong and competent athletes. Each level in the ballet series builds on technique and skill.
