COMMUNITY 28th Annual Arts and Craft Show Mechanicsburg Dinner Club Upper Allen Woman’s Club GFWC will sponsor the 28th Annual Arts and Craft Show on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Mechanicsburg Area High School. More than 130 vendors will be selling unique items including jewelry, stained glass, candles, pottery, soap, handcrafted items and much more. Baked goods and snacks will be available while you are shopping. Craft show hours are 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. For more information contact Karen Cochran at uawccraftshow@ gmail.com. All proceeds benefit the community.

ACL Injury Risk Screening and Prevention

Date: Sa, Nov 9 Time: 9:00 am - 11:00 am Location: Elmwood Academy Gym Fee: $59 ACL injuries are increasingly common among young athletes, often resulting in season ending surgery. Come join the physical therapists from Advanced Physical Therapy and Fitness for a full screening to assess your risk of sustaining a knee injury. After screening all participants will be instructed in a full knee injury prevention program that can be incorporated into your normal exercise or sports routine.

Tired of eating out by yourself? Looking for new places to eat and enjoy new friendships? Look no further. We lined up several great restaurants for you to try. There is no fee; just simply show up and pay for your own dinner and tip. We meet at a new restaurant the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm. Mechanicsburg Ski Club

Open to all students, families and community members. The Ski Club gives residents the best possible value for skiing and snowboarding as well as provides students the opportunity to go as a group throughout January and February on Tuesday evenings. Wildcat Before and After School Program

Date: M/Tu/W/Th/F, Aug 1 - Jun 5 Location: Elmwood Academy Age: 4th & 5th Graders Before and After School Program for Elmwood Academy students. Care is provided from 6:30 am 7:45am and 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm on all school days. All-day care is offered on some teacher in-service and holiday recess days. Cookies with Mrs. Claus

Cookies with Mrs. Claus will be held on Saturday, December 7, at the Upper Allen Township Building from 9:00 am -11:00 am. Morning activities will include crafts, games, and face painting. Children will be able to write their Christmas letters to Santa. Bring your camera to take your child’s picture with Mrs. Claus. An adult must accompany all children who attend this event. Tickets are $5 per child for children up to 12 years old and $2 per adult. The Upper Allen Woman’s Club Foundation sponsors “Cookies with Mrs. Claus”. Proceeds support community projects. Operation Wildcat Yard Sale

Largest Yard Sale Ever will be held October 18 and 19, 2019 at Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church (McBic). Donations are accepted year-round.
