El BFM - BOGOSHORTS Film Market, sección de industria del Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá – BOGOSHORTS, se ha constituido como el escenario ideal para fortalecer y potenciar a los diferentes actores del sector audiovisual interesados esencialmente en los formatos cortos, a través de estrategias de creación, formación, circulación y networking. Este año, tendremos invitados de más de 10 países entre los que se encuentran Alemania, Francia, Canadá, Reino Unido y China; Así como, una importante representación de cineastas nacionales quienes estarán interactuando de primera mano con todos los acreditados de Industria, creando oportunidades y sinergias que facilitarán la financiación o finalización de sus proyectos de cortometraje. 6
The BFM - BOGOSHORTS Film Market, industry section of the Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá - BOGOSHORTS, has become the ideal platform through which to strengthen and empower players in the audiovisual market, whose primary focus is short format, through creation, training, circulation and networking. This year, we have guests joining us from over 10 countries, including Germany, France, Canada, the UK and China. Alongside a strong representation of Colombian filmmakers, who will be interacting closely with accredited members of the industry and opening up opportunities for collaboration, that will facilitate the financing or completion of their short films projects.
Para esta tercera versión del mercado tendremos como novedad un nuevo componente. Realizaremos la primera versión de COCO - Convención de Convergencia, con el objetivo de conectar a los realizadores y emprendedores audiovisuales emergentes con otras industrias creativas, como son el videojuego, la publicidad, la música y el mundo editorial. En los últimos años, hemos sido testigos de la transformación de algunas industrias creativas. Cada día evidenciamos que la narración de historias alimenta las distintas manifestaciones artísticas y culturales, y es por esto que decidimos crear un espacio para la interacción y el cruce entre diferentes disciplinas. Hemos diseñado una agenda de tres días que contempla reuniones uno a uno, conferencias y espacios de networking, para ambientar la interacción y el encuentro entre actores de diferentes sectores culturales. Los invitamos a vivir la experiencia de Bogoshorts Film Market, a participar activamente y a nutrirse de la energía vital que nos convoca este año para ampliar la dimensión de nuestros sueños. Now in its third year, BFM will launch the first version of COCO - Convención de Convergencia (Convergence Convention), with the aim of connecting emerging audiovisual filmmakers and entrepreneurs with other creative industries, such as videogames, advertising, music, among others. In recent years, we have witnessed a significant shift in some creative industries, where storytelling is increasingly taking centre stage in various forms of artistic and cultural expressions. It is for this reason, that we have decided to create a space for interaction between different disciplines. We have designed a three-day programme that includes one-to-one meetings, conferences and networking events. We invite you to join us at Bogoshorts Film Market. Diana Camargo Buriticá Directora BFM / Director of BFM Reconocida Productora colombiana con estudios en cine y en guion cinematográfico. Desarrolla y produce proyectos de cine y televisión para Laberinto Producciones desde hace 10 años. Ha producido mas de 10 cortometrajes, entre los que se encuentran: ‘La vuelta de hoja’, ‘Marina la esposa del pescador’, ‘Instrucciones para matar la luna’ e ‘Instrucciones para robar una motocicleta’. Entre sus largometrajes se encuentran: ‘La sociedad del semáforo’, ‘Sanandresito’ y ‘Antes del fuego’. Renowned Colombian producer with a firm scholastic background in film studies and screenplay. Diana has developed and produced film and television projects for Laberinto Producciones for 10 years. Diana has produced more than 10 short films, among which are: La vuelta de hoja (The Turn of the Leaf), Marina la esposa del pescador (Marina the Fisherman’s Wife), Instrucciones para matar la luna (Instructions to Kill the Moon) and Instrucciones para robar una motocicleta (Instructions to Steal a Motorcycle). Among Diana’s feature films are: La sociedad del semáforo (The traffic light society), Sanandresito and Antes del fuego (Before the Fire).

In Vitro BFM Programa de estímulos a la producción del primer corto profesional de un equipo creativo compuesto por guionista, productor y director, para ser rodado en Bogotá. Los equipos en competencia participan activamente de múltiples actividades durante el festival hasta que al final, 5 grupos son preseleccionados para presentar un pitch presencial ante un jurado que determinará los ganadores. El equipo ganador del primer premio obtendrá un estímulo cuantificado aproximadamente en 50.000 dólares que consisten en recursos para la producción, equipos de rodaje, servicios de postproducción de imagen y sonido, y asesorías y acompañamiento durante el proceso de producción en distintas áreas de la realización cinematográfica: guion, producción, dirección, dirección de fotografía, dirección de arte, montaje y música, todas ellas impartidas por un grupo de reconocidos especialistas de la industria nacional. A través de esta convocatoria y gracias al apoyo de todos los aliados de Invitro BFM, se han producido 6 cortometrajes. Estos cortometrajes han participado en diferentes festivales nacionales e internacionales y en su mayoría, los directores, guionistas y productores de estas películas han seguido cosechando logros en sus carreras cinematográficas.
A grant programme for the production of a first professional short film by a creative team composed of a screenwriter, producer and director; to be shot in Bogotá. The selected teams will participate in multiple activities during the festival, until five groups are shortlisted to present a face-to-face pitch before a jury who will determine the winners. The first prize winning team will receive a grant of approximately $ 50,000 USD, made up of production resources, filming equipment, image and sound postproduction services, as well as advice and support on different areas of filmmaking during the production process such as scriptwriting, production, direction, photography direction, art direction, editing and music, all taught by a group of renowned, national industry specialists. Thanks to this programme and with the support of all Invitro BFM partners, six short films have been produced. These short films have participated in various national and international festivals and, for the most part, the directors, scriptwriters and producers of these films have advanced in their cinematography careers. Estreno BFM La Tortuga de plástico / The Plastic Turtle Colombia / 2019 / 10’00’’ / Color / Sin díalogos / Una Tortuga vive tranquilamente en el fondo del mar, hasta que un aparatoso accidente la obliga a luchar por sobrevivir y adaptarse a los cambios físicos y ambientales que la inconsciencia humana le han producido. A little turtle lives quietly at the bottom of the sea until that suffer an accident. The turtle will fight to survive and will suffer the physical and environmental changes that human unconsciousness has produced. Miguel León, Claudia Osejo Miguel es artista plástico y animador. Claudia es Maestra en artes escénicas con énfasis en actuación egresada de la Facultad de Artes ASAB. Juntos fundaron el estudio de Animación AnimHado, en el que exploran técnicas tradicionales, especialmente el stop motion. Sus cortos ‘Sangre Raíz’ y ‘Rompe Cabezas’ han tenido selecciones en festivales a nivel nacional e internacional. Su reciente cortometraje ‘La Tortuga de Plástico’ ganó el premio In Vitro BFM en el año 2018. Miguel is aplastic artist and animator. Claudia studied performing arts with an emphasis on acting graduated from Faculty of arts ASAB. Both founded AnimHado Animation studio, in which they explore traditional techniques, especially stop motion. Their short films ‘Roots’ and ‘Rompe Cabezas’ had been selected at national and international festivals. His recent short film ‘The Plastic Turtle’ won the InVitro BFM award in 2018.

Nicolas a young men seeks to understand why his friend Lana, one day without any explanation decided to end her life when she was on her way to work. Ana, no huyas de mí / Don‘t run away from me Ana es una joven estudiante universitaria que es reconocida por su belleza. Ella es el objeto de deseo de hombres de todas las edades, en otras palabras es a quien todos le tienen ganas. Esto lleva a que un grupo de hombres se obsesione con ella y la secuestre, creando una secta que vive para poseer la belleza de la joven. Ana tendrá que escapar de sus captores y descubrir su conexión con ellos mientras revela sus identidades y se enfrenta a sus miedos más profundos. Ana is an university student that is known for her blinding beauty. She is the object of desire of men of all ages, in other words she is the one who everyone wants. This leads to a group of men to become obsessed with her and kidnap her, creating a sect that lives to possess the beauty of the girl. Ana will have to escape from her captors and discover her connection with them while revealing their identities and facing her deepest fears.

Caño 39 / Spout 39 “El Docto” es un mendigo que deja atrás su vida de médico obstetra por la muerte de su esposa y su hija el día del parto. 10 años después, rescata una famosa actriz de un accidente y la cuida en el Caño donde vive, se entera que está en embarazo, está siendo buscada y decide cuidarla y protegerla hasta el nacimiento de su bebé. Encuentra en este acto la oportunidad de redimirse y recuerda el pasado que había olvidado. “El Docto” is a homeless man who abandoned his life as an obstetrician after his wife and daugther´s deaths. 10 years later, he rescues a famous actress from an accident and takes care of her in the pipe where he lives, finds out that she is pregnant, is being searched and decides to take care of her and protect her until the birth of her baby. He find in this act the opportunity to redeem yourself and remember the past he had forgotten.

Cuento para Dormir / Bedtime Story Cuando todos parecen estar dormidos un monstruo irrumpe en la casa de Olivia, una niña de 7 años que le teme a la oscuridad. Ella escucha las pisadas y los rugidos entrar al cuarto de mamá y papá, seguidos por los gritos de mamá. Armada de valor debido a las historias fantásticas que le cuenta papá y en compañía de Coco (un peluche quimérico que es su mejor amigo) la niña recorre el lugar siniestro en el que se convirtió su casa, lleno de sombras y espantos que aguardan en los rincones. Olivia tendrá que vencer sus miedos para enfrentarse a un monstruo que amenaza su hogar. When everyone seems to be asleep a monster bursts into Olivia‘s house, a 7-year-old girl who fears the dark. She hears footsteps and roars enter mom and dad‘s room, followed by mom‘s screams. Armed with courage because of the fantastic stories that Dad tells her and in the company of Coco, (a chimeric stuffed animal that is her best friend), the girl goes through around the sinister place where her house became, full of shadows and frights that await in the corners. Olivia will have to overcome her fears to face the monster that threatens her home.

Desnacer / Unborning En el barrio La Favorita ubicado en el centro de Bogotá, en donde la violencia esta presente en cualquier calle, vive Taison, un adolescente que busca la manera de sobrevivir día a día. Taison se encuentra sumergido en una monotonía llena de prostitución y nostalgia. A pesar de vivir en un inquilinato donde se encuentra solo ya que su familia no está con el, para despejarse de esta ciudad y de él mismo suele estar con diferentes amigos de vida y de trabajo. Una historia conectada con la soledad que acompañará a Taison, viendo la condición humana del abandono que tendrá Taison. In the neighborhood of La Favorita located in downtown Bogota, where violence is present in any street, lives Taison, a teenager who seeks the way to survive day by day. Taison finds himself immersed in a monotony full of prostitution and reminicence. In spite of living in a tenement where he is alone since his family is not with him, to clear himself of this city and himself he is usually with different friends of life and work. A story connected with the solitude that will accompany Taison, seeing the human condition of the abandonment that Taison will have.

El monstruo bajo mi cama / The monster under my bed “Un monstruo bajo mi cama” es la historia de Samuel, un niño de ocho años que vive con sus padres en un conjunto de casas donde los vecinos son alegres y cordiales. Una noche de un día común Samuel se encuentra con Paul, el monstruo bajo su cama, comienzan a entablar una conversación y para sorpresa de Samuel, Paul no es un monstruo aterrador, es de hecho bastante amable. La verdad es que Paul no está ahí para asustar a Samuel, sino para salvarlo del hombre que se esconde en su armario quien está ahí para secuestrarlo, abusar de él y asesinarlo. “A monster Under My bed” is the story of Samuel, an 8 year kid who lives with in a group of houses where the neighbors are cheerful and friendly. One night of a common day Samuel meets Paul, the monster under his bed, they start a conversation and to Samuel‘s surprise, Paul is not a scary monster, he is, indeed quite friendly. The truth is that Paul is not there to scare Samuel, he is there to save him from the man hiding in his closet who is there to kidnap him, abuse him and kill him.

BFM Furtivo / Furtive Movidos por su deseo de reformar el mundo, tres adolescentes, Nadia (22), Leo (23) y René (23), crear un plan para cazar cazadores; durante semanas practican con rifles, estudian los movimientos de sus presas y consiguen lo necesario para ejecutar su plan. Todo parece bajo control, hasta que una bala no da en el blanco. Moved by their desire to reform the world, three teenagers, Nadia (22), Leo (23) and René (23), create a plan to hunt animal hunters. For weeks they practice with rifles, study the movements of their prey and get what they need to execute their plan. Everything seems to be under control until a bullet doesn‘t hit the target.

Hombre de lata / The Can Man Saúl, un indigente de 80 años, recorre los últimos años de su vida en la extrema soledad. Lo único que tiene es su viejo carro de madera de reciclaje (Zorra) en el cual guarda como un tesoro las latas que recicla. Con las latas forma figuras de sus mejores recuerdos, que se desvanecen en su memoria. Está decidido a revivir la mejor escena de su pasado antes que el olvido le gane la partida. Necesita la ayuda de Aminta, una anciana del barrio, a quien espía constantemente a pesar de los constantes rechazos de ella. Saúl llevará a cabo un quijotesco plan sentir su pasado una última vez. Saul, a homeless man of 80 years, he spends the last years of his life in extreme solitude. All he has is his old wooden recycling car into which he stores as a treasure the cans he recycles. With the cans he forms figures of his best memories, which fade into his memory. Inefable / Ineffable ”Danna” es una artista que vive en las calles de Bogotá, dedica todo su tiempo a dibujar situaciones cotidianas que observa todos los días; vendiendo algunos de sus ejemplares por casi nada de dinero. Después de haber tomado la decisión de vivir en las calles para alejarse del mundo para dedicarse simplemente a dibujar la ha llevado a tener una vida solitaria hasta que se verá interrumpida por la llegada a su vida de un canino amigo que le recordara que el amor que está por encima del dinero o cualquier cosa material al darse cuenta que el perro es buscado por su familia. ”Danna” is an artist who lives in the streets of Bogotá, dedicates her time to drawing everyday situations that she observes; selling some of his drawings very cheap. After making the decision to live on the streets to get away from the world to devote himself simply to drawing has led her to have a lonely life, she will be interrupted by the arrival in her life of a canine friend who will remind her that the love that is above money or anything material to realize that the dog is sought by a family.

Inmersión / Dip Ana recibe un paquete por parte de una compañía que está haciendo experimentos con un nuevo dispositivo inteligente llamado P.I, el dispositivo está hecho para ayudar en la vida diaria de la persona, pero al empezar la interacción Ana descubre que algo está mal, ya que, constantemente pareciera que P.I conoce momentos íntimos de su vida. Esto es usado por P.I para jugar con la mente de Ana y llevarla al límite, con el fin de romper su voluntad y que acceda a conectarse a él, conociendo así que Ana no es humana sino otro eslabón del experimento para llegar la inteligencia artificial perfecta. Ana receives a package from a company that is doing experiments with a new smart device called P.I, the device is made to help in the person‘s daily life, but at the beginning of the interaction Ana discovers that something is wrong, since, constantly it seems that P.I knows intimate moments of her life. This is used by P.I to play with the mind of Ana and take her to the limit, in order to break her will and that she agrees to connect to him, knowing that Ana is not human but another link in the experiment to get the perfect artificial intelligence.

La Loca de los Gatos / Cat Lady Berenice ha estado combatiendo su cáncer de mama desde hace un tiempo. Luego de su mastectomía, continúa con el tratamiento de quimioterapia oral a petición de su hija, aún cuando no desea continuar tomando la medicina ya que desgasta su salud. Y si bien su situación parece estar bajo control, es ahora su gata, Roberta, quien padece la misma enfermedad y a pesar del tratamiento, no parece mejorar. Berenice entonces empieza a cuestionarse su mortalidad y el valor desproporcionado que se le otorga a la vida aunque su calidad sea muy baja. Berenice underwent a mastectomy as soon as a cancerous tumor was detected, and decided to undergo chemotherapy at the request of her children even though she has been vocal about her aversion to the toxic treatment. Ironically, Berenice’s cat, Roberta, was diagnosed with feline lymphoma, feline cancer which cannot be cured but controlled. Seeing her cat in pain and suffering, and as a cancer patient herself, Berenice will be faced with a decision that could potentially affect her relationship with her daughters but will give her peace of mind.

Jorge debe bajar en la oscuridad, esquivando los juguetes de su hermano, para conectar el wifi y conocer la respuesta de Valeria. It‘s night, Jorge is in his room determined to confess his love to Valeria by chat, he has a list of statement phrases, but he doesn‘t decide on one. His mother, goes down to the kitchen to prepare a tea and sees light on in Jorge‘s room, heats the water staring at the wi-fi. Jorge decides and sends the message, Valeria reads it, starts writing but the internet goes down. He leaves his room and meets his mother, who sends him to sleep. Jorge must go down in the dark, dodging his brother‘s toys, to connect the wifi and know Valeria‘s answer.

Incubadora BFM / BFM incubator El espíritu de la Incubadora es Colaboración. Así, se crea este espacio como un encuentro de coproducción en el cual diseñamos una jornada para sostener reuniones uno a uno. De un lado, están productores audiovisuales que buscan financiación para hacer realidad sus proyectos de cortometraje y del otro, se encuentran empresas y profesionales del sector audiovisual que prestan distintos servicios cinematográficos, con el objetivo de cerrar posibles alianzas o coproducciones. Los proyectos que pueden estar en cualquier etapa de producción, deben cumplir con unos requisitos básicos para quedar seleccionados y asistir a la agenda de reuniones que el mercado les ofrece. Adicionalmente a las reuniones, el mercado dispone de distintos espacios de interacción con otros actores de la industria audiovisual nacional y con los invitados internacionales, con el fin de intercambiar experiencias y generar nuevos contactos que seguramente serán de gran utilidad en un futuro.
At the heart of the Incubadora BFM is collaboration. Through a series of co-production session, we organise a day of one-to-one meetings between audiovisual producers seeking financial support for short film projects and cinematography companies or professionals, with the aim of enabling alliances or co-productions. The projects can be at any stage of production, although they must meet some basic requirements in order to take part. In addition to the one-to-one meetings, we also offer opportunities for exchange with other partners in the national film industry, as well as international guests, with a view to sharing experiences and making new contacts.

María Margarita is a lonely old woman who have to face a black hole which swallows the objects in her house, but it absorbs her intimate space too: one by one, the memories that are part of her identity will dissappear. Then, the black hole will become a naked singularity, and she will travel through her memory to confront her last reminiscence: the death of Leonel, her brother. Once she lost any trace of her identity, she walks towards the naked singularity and this time, she is the one who dissappears.

Ahora no reconoce las rutas donde solía pescar, el agua está contaminada de mercurio, la relación con sus viejos compañeros de pesca no es la misma, su esposa está enferma y debe encontrar la manera de llevar el sustento a su familia. Pedro navega la ciénaga con el sol en su espalda y en contraste a la infinita riqueza que lo rodea carga con la desesperación y la incertidumbre de un futuro más prometedor. Because the mine where Pedro(62) used to work was shut down, he had no choice but to go back to his old trade in the huge Ayapel lake. The waters of the lake are contaminated with Mercury, the relationship with his old fishing mates has changed, his wife is ill, and he is struggling to bing food to the family’s table. Pedro paddles his boat on the lake, hard put to comprehend the irony of being surrounded by the immense wealth of the natural resources yet bearing with desperation the uncertainty of whether there would be a more promising future for him.

Yomaidy, amor / Yomaidy, Love En medio de la neblina de una selva espesa, sobresale un caserío de tabla de una comunidad afrodescendiente. Yomaidy, una niña negra de unos siete años, resalta por lo tranquilo y sereno de su aspecto en un entorno extremadamente ruidoso y caótico. En el caserío, los sonidos de la selva se mezclan con la música a alto volumen, los juegos de los niños y las conversaciones a gritos de la comunidad. En el fondo, no importa el momento, siempre retumba el grito agudo de la madre: “¡Yomaidy, vení para acá!”. La obediencia de Yomaidy se rompe poco a poco por la imagen recurrente del río y la desesperación callada con la que afronta su entorno abrumador.

In a sunny day, William (33) and his son Jacobo (5) go out for a walk. It is 1990. Father and son go deep into a land of unyielding heat while the war that is destroying the region continues. The public pools are filled with working class people, sharing the happiness of a sunny Sunday. But the obscure and overwhelming presence of hired assassins and drug dealers is there. The innocent admiration of Jacobo and the great impression caused by his father will not hide the fact that behind the veil of an idyllic journey, death will be revealed. ESTUCINE / The National Meeting of Film Students El Encuentro Nacional de Estudiantes de Cine – ESTUCINE, reúne alrededor de 200 estudiantes, profesores y directivas de escuelas de cine de todo el país, en torno a la reflexión y acercamiento al medio cinematográfico. ESTUCINE se convierte así, en un proceso necesario y urgente para articular la formación con la industria nacional. En su segunda versión el eje central será el pensamiento cinematográfico joven y el análisis de los procesos de formación en el área de guion. The National Meeting of Film Students, known by its acronym ESTUCINE, brings together about 200 students, teachers and directors from film schools around the country, to discuss and reflect on approaches to cinematography. ESTUCINE is thus a necessary and urgent platform through which to conduct training within the national industry. In this, its second year, the main focus will be on young cinematography thought and analyses of script creation processes. Pedro Suárez is a someone whose life has been marked by cinema. Since a child, his dream had always been to perform in a great production. Once he achieves it, and everything seems to arise in order to become a renowned actor, unexpected obstacles start to appear on his way, taking Pedro to his patience and time limits. How long will Pedro have to wait to acquire the role he is made for?

Carlos, un joven inmigrante venezolano, viene a Colombia a cantar en el transporte público con el fin de ahorrar para ayudar a su madre que sigue en Venezuela. Él vive con Gustavo, un músico bogotano, quien lo ayuda a lograr esta meta dándole posada en su hogar, entre ellos se forja una muy bonita amistad que se ve abruptamente interrumpida debido a que la madre de Carlos se enferma gravemente. Carlos, a young Venezuelan immigrant, comes to Colombia to sing on public transport in order to save to help his mother still in Venezuela. He lives with Gustavo, a local musician, who helps him achieve this goal by giving him an inn in his home, among them a very beautiful friendship is forged that is abruptly interrupted because Carlos’s mother becomes seriously ill.

Festival de cortos de Popayán 21-25 octubre / Popayán Nuestro Festival es una respuesta al proceso de los distintos espacios de formación de públicos: cine-clubes y salas alternas de exhibición que han nutrido y formado durante años un evento para acceder a otro cine, a la exploración de otras dimensiones por medio de una pantalla que nos abre mundos posibles. Our Festival is a response to the process of the different spaces of public formation: cineclubs and alternative exhibition halls that have nurtured and formed for years an event to access another cinema, to the exploration of other dimensions though a screen that opens up possible worlds. Thus, the festival is the connection and place of exchange of our imaginaries and ways of seeing with the images that directors give us to talk to Colombia and the world. Interfilm 5-10 noviembre / Alemania Fundada en 1982, Interfilm ha experimentado muchos cambios durante estos 38 años. Además, también ha acompañado al cortometraje en su viaje de transformación a través de los años: el cambio del cine analógico al digital, el nacimiento y el crecimiento de los videos musicales, que han experimentado un renacimiento gracias a Internet en los últimos años, y el Desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías como 360o, 3D y realidad virtual. Se refleja en más de 400 películas de más de 60 países. Con este fin, interfilm es difícil en términos de lo que mantiene a los cineastas fuertes. Y para no olvidar, por duodécima vez, el Festival KUKI está dedicado al cine infantil y juvenil. Founded in 1982, Interfilm has undergone many changes during these 38 years. El enfoque es profundizar en algunas áreas cruciales de la producción cinematográfica que consideramos de gran importancia para que los participantes del mercado tengan mejores herramientas para afrontar sus producciones audiovisuales. Los temas tratados son guion, presentación de pitch, dirección de actores, producción y nuevas narrativas, entre otros. This section consists of talks and workshops with leading professionals from the national audiovisual industry. The aim of the sessions is to acquire greater knowledge in areas of film production that are considered paramount, thus equipping participants with the necessary tools to develop their audiovisual productions successfully. The topics covered are script writing, pitch presentations, actor direction, production and new narratives, among others.

The BFM Videolibrary is an on-line platform that allows sales agents, distributors, digital or traditional channels and Latin American festival programmers to view all festival content. The Videolibrary contains works by this years’ BOGOSHORTS participants, filed by category, as well as a selection of special programs that are created every year. You can also view the winning short films of the Invitro BFM section. We have five viewing stations available to attendees, located in the bar El Discreto Encanto at Cine Tonalá, Bogotá (Carrera 6 # 35-37).
Conecta BFM / BFM Connect Consiste en actividades de networking diseñadas para generar conexiones entre los acreditados de Industria BFM, invitados del Festival y personalidades de la industria iberoamericana. Algunas de ellas son el cóctel de bienvenida BFM, speed dating, Parrilla BFM, la fiesta de Malta Cine, empresa colombiana que cumple 15 años de trayectoria, entro otras actividades. Durante la realización del Mercado contaremos con un espacio diario, el Lounge BFM, en el cual los acreditados de industria podrán organizar su agenda, tener reuniones cortas, intercambiar contactos y tomarse un café bajo el manto de la Santa Lucía. These events include the BFM welcome cocktail, speed dating, the BFM barbeque, the Malta Cine party (Malta Cine is a Colombian film company that celebrates 15 years in operation), among others. Inmersión BFM - BAM (Profundidad guión) / BFM Inmersion – BAM (with a focus on script) Programa itinerante que busca fortalecer este aspecto esencial en el proceso de realización de cortometrajes, mediante actividades de workshop, residencias y asesorías a nuevos talentos y sus proyectos. El eje central de este componente es trabajar sobre el rol del guionista, reconociendo la importancia vital que tiene en la creación audiovisual. 10 guionistas seleccionados trabajarán en una jornada de una semana de manera intensiva para desarrollar sus guiones de cortometraje de la mano de un experto español. Los socios de este componente son El Bogotá Audiovisual Market BAM, Laberinto Producciones y la Fundación SGAE. An itinerant programme that seeks to strengthen this essential aspect in the short film making process, through workshop activities, residences and mentoring for new talents and their projects. The key feature of this area is to work on the function of the screenwriter, by recognizing the fundamental role it plays in audiovisual creation. Under the advise of a spanish renowned scriptwriter, 10 selected colombian screenwriters will work intensively for a week developing short film scripts. The partners of this area are Bogotá Audiovisual Market - BAM, Laberinto Productions and SGAE Fundation.
COCO - Convención de convergencia / Convergence Convention COCO - Convención de convergencia es nuestro nuevo componente que se realizará por primera vez en esta versión del mercado durante los días 5, 6 y 7 de diciembre. Este es un espacio diseñado para conectar a la industria audiovisual con otras industrias creativas, con el fin de expandir sus posibilidades de acción y trabajo a largo plazo. Queremos empezar a sensibilizar a los distintos sectores culturales sobre la importancia de conectarse y comprender las posibilidades y la potencia de la creación en conjunto. Este componente surge del diálogo permanente que sostenemos con el Ministerio de Cultura en una búsqueda por ampliar las posibilidades de creación y sostenibilidad para distintos actores de las industrias creativas y de contenido en nuestro país. El Ministerio de Cultura a través de su Viceministerio de la creatividad y la economía naranja es el socio principal de esta convención. COCO - Convención de convergencia (Convergence Convention) is our newest addition to the program, which will be held for the first time at this year’s BFM on 5th, 6th and 7th December. This is a space designed to connect the audiovisual industry with other creative industries, in order to encourage long-term professional partnership and collaboration. We want to bring awareness to the different forms of cultural expression about the importance of connecting and understanding the possibilities of creating together. COCO BFM is the result of conversations with the Ministry of Culture in a bid to expand the possibilities of creation and sustainability for different actors in the creative and content industries in Colombia. The Ministry of Culture, through its Vice Minister of Creativity, and the Orange Economy (also known as the Creative Economy), are the main partners in this endeavour.
