Family Fun LA Zoo Lights in Los Angeles
LA Zoo Lights has become one of the top holiday tradition destinations in Los Angeles. This all-age family friendly event returns bigger and better on November 27th through January 3rd, 2016. During the season, LA Zoo will be illuminated with thousands of dazzling LED lights and visitors can also enjoy water and light shows, glittering light tunnels and 3-D animated projections. Tickets for newly introduced 21 and up event “Holiday Happy Hour” and family-friendly “Family New Year’s Eve” are also on sale. 材料（4人前） 米 ３カップ 水 ３カップ 鶏肉 ８０g 油あげ ２０g
人参 ごぼう しいたけ 創味のつゆ
３０g ３０g １０g 大さじ４杯
作り方 ①米は３０分以上吸水させます。 ②鶏肉は1.5ｃｍ角程度に切り、 油ぬきした油揚げを千切りにします。 ③人参、 しいたけも千切りにし、 ごぼうはささがきにして水にさらします。 ④①と創味のつゆ、 水を釜に入れ、 ②の具を上にちらします。 ⑤炊き上がったら、 12～15分むらします。

正常
上部頚椎のアジャストメントを行って、 初めの3ヶ月間は定期的なチェックアップで通っていましたが、 3ヶ月以 降は1ヶ月に一度のペースで経過をチェックしてもらっています。 1ヶ月前のチェックアップでは肩の左右の高さが 均等だったのが、 今回は左の肩が右に比べて少し高いとの診断結果でした。 正常値だった診断が一時的にそう でなくなるケースは、 ゆっくり時間をかけて身体全体を正常な状態に戻っていく中での、 Retracing （再建現象） の一過程なので心配しないで下さいとの事でした。 毎回のチェックアップでは各測定の後に前回のチェックアップから今回までの生活で変わった事や気になっ た事を先生が色々質問されるんです。 その中で自分でも気にしていなかった事や生活の変化を加味し、 現状を伝 えてもらいます。 例えば、 「熱でひどい頭痛があった」 「過度の運動を行った」 「捻挫した」 などでも測定結果に変化 をもたらす事があるようです。 測定結果の診断と、 生活状況を総合して現状を判断して、 必要なアドバイスをもら えるのでとても安心しています。 身体のことで心配ごとがあれば、 一度ご相談してみて下さい！

Only one more month to go till the New Year. This winter is said to be cold in Los Angeles than usual. This time we would like to talk about something for the cold season. 今年もあと1ヶ月。今冬のロサンゼルスは例年より冷え込むようです。 今回は寒い冬ならではのお話です。
Warming up the engine Los Angeles does not get that cold but when you need to start the car in the morning or in the night when the temperature is low, we recommend you warm up the engine fro 30 seconds to 4 minutes before driving. This will help oil run smooth in the engine. Especially when it’s really cold or when you haven’t’ used your car in a long time, the engine does not run smooth. If you rapidly start your car in that kind of situation, engine is likely to get damaged. ロサンゼルスは冬でも比較的冷え込まない地域ですが、朝晩が冷え込む時期は車を始動させる場合、 ３０秒～４分ほどの暖気運転をお勧めしています。それは暖気はエンジン内のオイルをうまく潤滑させる ための手段だからです。特に極端な低温時や、 しばらく乗らなかった車はエンジン内のオイルが通常時と 比べ潤滑していません。その状態で急発進などをするとエンジンへの負担が増加します。
Fuel efficiency of Hybrid cars in winter It is said that the fuel efficiency goes down in winter for Hybrid cars. It is due to the frequent use of the heater. Car heaters use the heat from the engine to send warm wind inside the car. This is same for both gasoline cars and hybrid cars. The engine of gasoline cars are always in operation so heater doesn’t affect the fuel efficiency but for hybrid cars, the engine needs run more to use the heater which makes the fuel efficiency go down. ハイブリッド車は冬に燃費が落ちるといいます。なぜ燃費が落ちるかというと暖房を頻繁に使用す るからです。車の暖房はエンジンの熱を利用して車内へと温風を送っているのです。 この仕組みは、ガ ソリン車もハイブリッド車も変わりません。従来のガソリン車は、エンジンが常に稼動しているため、暖 房を使用しても燃費には影響しなかったのですが、ハイブリッド車は暖房を効かせる為に、エンジンを より多く回転させることになるため、燃費が落ちてしまうのです。

The secret to this is the use of 100% xylitol. When we think of the word “xylitol”, we always think of the gum. Dr. Oda would like to introduce some habits of gum-chewing and xylitol. Xylitol is a sweetener for food and is supposedly a sugar that promotes cavities, but according to research, it does the opposite. On top of this, it promotes saliva within the move, causing the neutralization of acids. Also, it helps in the remineralization of teeth. Thinking of xylitol reminds of the famous gum. In addition to increasing saliva in the mouth, chewing gum also helps to reduce plaque and oxidation of the teeth. You can such positive and synergistic effects of xylitol. Braised Pork Belly (Kakuni) (for 4 ser vings)
1.5 lb black pork belly 1 stalk of tokyo negi 4 quail eggs 1 oz ginger 3 tbsp KIKKOMAN SOY SAUCE 2.5 cups water
1.7 oz sake 3 tbsp sugar
TIP
Adding KIKKOMAN SOY SAUCE later makes the dish aromatic and will be the key to the taste.

<1> Boil black pork belly with plenty of water for 90 minutes. (Use water that has been used to wash rice) Take out the pork and rinse well. Cut into appropriate size. <2> Add pork, water, ginger, sake, sugar and the green part of tokyo negi in the pot and cook for 15 min. in medium heat. <3> Add KIKKOMAN SOY SAUCE and cook for another 45 min. in medium heat. <4> Add sliced white part of tokyo negi and boiled quail eggs and mustard.
