Jjukku Jjukku Having just opened last year, this restaurant, famous for its Jeju-style Korean BBQ offers a wonderfully authentic South Korean-style chukumi (octopus) hot pot. Octopus is low in calories and is known as seafood that is not only healthy but filled with essential amino acids and nutrients. Cooked on top of a iron pot, their addicting and delicious sauce is made from a spicy base using peppers directly from Korea. This base is used to sauté the ingredients. Saga-Gyu ranks among the best of over 200 beef brands in Japan. It is one of the regional agricultural specialties of Saga Prefecture which boasts a mild climate with an average temperature of around 61℉ and an annual average precipitation of about 1,800 mm. Fertile land and clean water are essential elements for breeding high-quality beef cattle.
Saga-Biyori 温暖な気候に恵まれる佐賀県は、太古の昔から米づくりに適した土地でした。江戸時代に本格化した干拓によって広がった平野は、 ミネラル豊富で肥 沃な大地となり、 「米づくり日本一」に二度も輝いたことのある、全国屈指の米どころです。 さがびよりは暑さにに強く、品質、食味とも優れた新しい品種 として、10年余りの開発を経て、平成21年秋にデビューしました。
Saga is blessed with temperate climate where rice making has suited from ancient times. Cultivation was done regularly in the Edo period (1603-1868) making rich fields with minerals. Saga became one of the best rice making regions through out Japan and has won "Japan's number one rice making" award twice Saga-Biyori is strong in the heat and has excellent quality and taste. It was introduced as a new kind in fall 2009 after more than ten years of research and development.

Ureshino-cha has won Japan's number one prize, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Prize for five years in row in steamed tamaryoku-cha division (spherical green tea)at annual tea competitive fair. Also the land has won an award given to the area which produced the best tea for this division and also for Kamairi-cha division(green tea fired in hot pot) for three years in row. Ureshino-cha brand is becoming famous nation wide. Each leaf is round with deep green color and has strong flavor and taste. Slowly brewed in the pot, you can enjoy the different taste and flavor each time you pour into your cup.

<1> Mix together the KIKKOMAN MEMMI, KIKKOMAN KOTTERI MIRIN, and water to make the sauce. <2> In frypan, put sesame oil and red pepper. When it’s warmed, lightly sauté the bell peppers. <3> Add the sauce from Step 1 and sauté. When the water evaporates, sprinkle some sesame seeds.
