"First Cubing Dare Worldwide competition is here. Will you miss it?" Whit the idea to celebrate and special competition, this year, that is an olympic year, in Cubing Dare we are working with the organization of a big virtual championship. This championship will start 6th of july and finish 12th of the same month. It is a six day championship because we want to have all the events: 2x2x2, 3x3x3, 3x3x3 OH, 3x3x3 BLF, 3x3x3 MBF, 3x3x3 WF, 4x4x4, 5x5x5x, 6x6x6, 7x7x7, square足 1,megaminx, pyraminx, magic, mastermagic, and clock. 4

Organizer Cubing Dare UNOFFICIAL COMPETITION
There will be 4 groups, depending of the UTC hour. One group for Nort America, another for South America and the west of north America, the third one for African and European competitors and the last one will be for speedcubers from Oceania and Asia. Competitors should consult their timetable because the scrambles will appear at the indicated hour (UTC+0) on our webpage. Then competitors will have a limited time to solve them and upload them results with a video of them resolution. The competition price is 0â‚Ź, the only condition is be member of Cubing Dare Club if you aren't yet, you can send us the following information by email or fill the registration form at our webpage.

UBING DARE: When did you started with cubing and why?
SIMON WESTLUND: I started cubing in december of 2007. The reason I started was that my second .cousin Johan Holmedahl knew how to solve the cube and could solve it in I've always been very competitive and it was just natural for me to want to become better at it than he was. So one afternoon my mom had bought me a cube and I started playing with it. Eventually I threw it in the wall and said I would never touch it again because I wasn't able to solve it. But later that same night I picked up the cube again and searched for tuturials on youtube and was able to learn from there, and since then it has just kept going from there pretty much. CD: Who inspired you to get into cubing? SW: Johan Holmedahl, my second cousin, as mentioned in the previous question. CD : If you have to mentions all your favorites cubers, who gonna be The First on your list? SW: I guess there are some different categories in this question.. 8

There are a whole lot of cubers that I really like for the person they are and for being such great friends.. But then there are cubers which also have cubing styles that I admire. Since pretty much when I started cubing I've admired Erik Akkersdijk's style of cubing, and I also really enjoy watching Cornelius Dieckmann cube. After meeting them both I've also found out that they are great guys

CD: You have so many friends on your Facebook and most of them a beauty girls, and your status is a Single, How is it possible Simon ? SW: Haha, well.. most of them added me after I was on television for Sweden's got Talent, and they only know me for how I look, and there are really way too
many to get to know.. Although the reason my relationship status has been single on my facebook is because I started a personal facebook with only people I know (where I still have a lot of people to add by the way!!) and that would be where I change that status.
SW: My first competition was good I believe! The venue wasn't the best, but I met a lot of nice people there. I went with my second cousin Johan Holmedahl who already knew a lot of the people so he introduced me.
CD: Are you proud on it, to have so many Beauty fans?
CD : Blue is your favorite color, they said if people who love a blue color is a calm person, do you believe that?
CD: Why Australia as your Dream country to be visited ?
SW: Sure, I think of myself as calm, never really thought about it though CD: When the first time you held a Golf stick ? how old were you at that time? 10
SW: Haha, I'm not sure.. I really don't mind it at all.
