Contests at All-Breeds Convention
QUIZ BOWL A convention classic! Test your dairy knowledge by competing with other juniors in this contest. JEOPARDY A fun twist on the game of jeopardy that is all about dairy, this is an individual contest. PUBLIC SPEAKING Present a speech on agriculture topics you are passionate about through this contest. PHOTO CONTEST Submit your best dairy photo to hopefully take the prize of best photo at convention! FOLDING DISPLAY CONTEST Juniors are encouraged to make and present an educational display on a topic about dairy.

NATIONAL HOLSTEIN CONVENTION This past June the Minnesota Holstein Association hosted the 2022 National Holstein Convention! Several of our members got to join in on the fun, and found success through awards and contests at the convention. Check out some of the highlights below!
Our juniors got the privilege of taking part in several events throughout the week in Sioux Falls including a Junior Mixer & Dance, Junior Welcome Night, Junior Tour, Chris Koch speech, Junior Data + Innovations Summit, Junior Awards Banquet, Contests, and more!

SENIOR CHAMPION The 2022 MJHA State Show was held in Perham, MN where juniors throughout the state exhibited a total of 108 head. Key State Show Rules and Regulations - Alternate Leadsmen Request Forms shall be sent to the MJHA Board, 1 week prior to the show. - Substitutes can be made on animals at check-in. - To be eligbile for the Jr. Bred & Owned Award, exhibitors must be listed as both the breeder and owner on the registration form. Adult-Junior partnerships are not acceptable. - Animals shown in the 2023 MJHA State Show need to be transferred into the juniors name by June 1st, 2023. - 4-H Lease forms are accepted. - All entries must be on the grounds of the show 24 hours prior to the start of the show. - Those animals in the 150,000 lb. cow class shall have DHIA official milk production records at the time of check-in and the show.
